Author-Actor-Host Danny Gardner on creativity LIVE on Authors on the Air

    in Books

Danny Gardner impressed audiences with his performance on the 3rd season of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam (All-Stars Vol. 12). He has enjoyed a career as an actor, director and screenwriter. He is a recent Pushcart Prize nominee for his creative non-fiction piece Forever. In an Instant., published by Literary Orphans Journal . His work has appeared in Beat to a Pulp, Out of the Gutter and Noir on the Air. His debut novel, A NEGRO AND AN OFAY. He lives in Los Angeles and originally hails from Chicago. Danny is also the one of the rotating hosts on NOIR ON THE RADIO in the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. From Danny: " When I was first learning how things work in published fiction, I made note of behavior. I’m a multi-talent with a delivery that can easily fill the room; however, the readings I attended seemed like sober affairs and no place for a ham. An author is introduced and then reads from his or her own work, which is normally followed by a polite Q&A session. Books are signed and attendees disperse. To this old performer, it’s rather straightforward and appropriate, as it’s a lot to ask someone to take a chance on a book."

Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio Presents: Tracy Arnold and Collier Wilmes

    in Paranormal

Tonight Nite Callers will be bringing you two special guests in a two hour show. In the first hour, we bring you Tracy Arnold. Tracy Arnold has been a researcher for 5 years. As he looked into the reports locally and found the proof that they are here he created a group called The New River Valley Bigfoot Organization two years ago . This past August, Tracy had his first sighting in daylight and it wasn't what he was expecting. Now he is honored to have a great group of guys that are on the same level as he,a group that is focused on bringing the truth out and finding the right way of finding evidence with out killing one. They're here in Virginia and Tracy proud of what he has found to be real .

In our second hour, Nite Callers welcomes Collier Wilmes.Collier is a special effects makeup artist. He is also a sculptor who dabbles in areas such as painting, casting, molding, etc. Collier has always wanted to make a bigfoot movie but it has always been on the back burner. In the meantime he has done some work helping out with makeup on some short movies. There he learned the process of making a movie.  Then things started to slow down, and Collier decided he was going to make his own movie. He spent a 6 months writing the movie, then building the fan base, and then putting some work together to get people excited about the project. Join us as we interview the creator of Sasquatch the Boss of the Forest
