My Guest today is: Dr. Jake Wade, Dean of Timothy Bible College.
From Albert Einstein’s ‘Theory of Relativity,’ Dr. Wade began a journey to seek meaningful answers for life’s mysteries. His study of the Bible became a passion and he began to see correlations in the physics between the two. Dr. Wade became an author, a teacher, a minister, and eventually put his best efforts into this manual for life; Spiritual/Biblical Psychology. This work contains studies of the spiritual, mental and physical interrelated components of mans being. Intelligence, the nervous system, the brain and the electromagnetic field interconnect and keep the human body in harmony, when all goes well. What happens when it does not? See Physics and Einstein intertwine into a logical, pragmatic view of the human experience.
After running an engineering business, Dr. Wade put his vast education in engineering, metallurgy, physics, chemical engineering, welding and psychology to excellent use; building pipelines and fathering five children. The events led to becoming a country dweller on a small ranch near Austin, TX, where he was blessed with raising two more girls with his beloved wife Linda Simmerman Wade who went on to heaven in 2003. Special thanks are given to Cathryn Craig Wade, PhD, MBA. for her endless editing, advice and artistic views of life and the world which contributed greatly to this endeavor.

Lisa Lapides Sawicki joins us ON THE DEAN'S LIST.
Lisa Lapides Sawicki has over 30 years of publicity and consulting experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in communications and a minor in publicity from Boston University. With this knowledge under her belt, she dove into the industry with a vengeance. Lisa worked with Roone Arledge of ABC News and Sports in New York, Florine Mark with Weight Watchers, and Tony Franco at Franco Public Relations. After gaining such valuable experience, Lisa knew that she had what it took to make her mark in the field. In 1986, she built her brand and took things to the next level. She has owned and operated her own publicity company (formerly known as Lapides Publicity Giragosian) ever since.
As things progressed, Lisa became a well-known publicist in Michigan, and along with her husband, David Sawicki, decided to start giving back. In 2001, Lisa became co-creator of Youth Under Construction – an anti-bullying musical program teaching youth skills. Her activity in the community lead to several awards and speaking engagements. Later that year, she received the Oakland County Commission Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship in the Community, and Outstanding Work with Youth and PR Interns. In 2009, Lisa received the Cranbrook/Kingswood Distinguished Alumni Award for Achievements as a Small Business Entrepreneur and Dedication for Work with Youth. She was soon invited back to deliver their 2009 commencement speech – one of the high points of her career as a keynote speaker.

TANYA MARIE HARRIS admits to being somewhat of a late bloomer as far as Country music goes. “Growing up, we listened to a lot of rock more than anything. My mom never listened to Country – unless it was Patsy Cline,” she recalled of her formative years in Ontario. However, a trip into the southern United States changed all of that. “A little later on, I went on a trip to South Carolina, and they had so many Country radio stations around, so I got my first taste of it then. I went home and started listening to it, and watching CMT. I fell in love with the fact that I could understand it. Country is straight-forward, taking a page out of someone’s life and putting it to song. It was always a story that was relatable and understandable.” Tanya is currently working on a seven song EP with several of the songs already available at iTunes including the current single - now released to US radio - called Second Hand Dreams.
WILDFLOWER brings a unique blend of folk-roots & rock to their own brand of Country music. As with most musical journeys, Wildflower started with a song. Singer–songwriters Jennie Clarke (vocals) and Dean Selby (vocals, guitar) first met in a Calgary recording studio in 2012, and an instant chemistry and creative connection emerged. It wasn’t long before the two began writing & performing together. Recently honoured with a nomination for 2013 Group/Duo of the Year by the Association of Country Music in Alberta, and Top 10 Regional finalists in the prestigious CBC Searchlight competition in 2014, Wildflower is ready to make their mark on the Canadian Country music scene. Their first full-length album will be released in August 2014. Entitled Long Road, the album name is fitting considering the journey these two have taken to get to this point in their musical careers.
