IndieReview Behind The Scenes Culture Shocked w/ Author Toya Richardson!

    in Entertainment

Hello Everyone! Welcome to Culture Shocked with Host Jamie White! Tonight Jamie will chat with Paranormal Author Toya Richardson!

About Toya Richardson:Although writing has been a big part of life for many years, it’s since 2009 that I’ve completed most of my work. Starting off with a romance/thriller, then fantasy and my most recent work, which is paranormal romance.

I grew up in Essex, but now reside in Suffolk – with my husband, grown up son and Masai the cat - where I work part time as an admin assistant. My other hobbies and interests include; reading, Formula One racing, darts, listening to music - mainly rock - cinema, live concerts, going to the theatre, keeping fit, gardening and holidays.

My mum was the biggest driving force in my life, always encouraging me to write down all my thoughts and dreams. She bought me adventure books from an early age and I became engrossed in fantasy worlds and their people. When she died suddenly in 2009, it made me realise how fragile life is and that if you want to achieve something, go out and do it while you can. I also long to dedicate my first book to her, it seems a fitting tribute for her belief in me and my abilities.

Bravo TV's "Married to Medicine" Star Toya Bush-Harris Discusses Her Show

    in Entertainment

Neil Haley, The Total Tutor host of the Total Celebrity Show, interviewed Toya Bush-Harris to find out about her show, her home life, and her charity work.

Born and raised on the south side of Detroit, Bush-Harris attended Tennessee State University and then graduated from the University of Phoenix before returning to Detroit to pursue her career as a Pharmaceutical Representative for several Fortune 500 Companies. Now she is flourishing as a wife of Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Eugene Harris III, whom she met in Detroit during his residency. With two kids, she is now one of the stars of the reality show "Married to Medicine."

In this interview on The Total Celebrity Show, Bush-Harris shares about being on "Married to Medicine."

“It has been awesome," Bush-Harris said. “My days are filled with my children's lives and helping in the community.”

Bush-Harris discussed how her life has changed since being on "Married to Medicine."

“It was not huge deal. When I am in my sweats and have no make-up on, most people do not know who I am. Though sometimes people walk up to grocery store.”

Bush-Harris believes there are a lot of challenges being on reality show. They assume they know who she is. They don't see her doing some of her favorite things, like putting her children to bed. Bush-Harris said, “Amazing how people think they know who you are, even though there are no cameras following us 24 hours a day.”

Bush-Harris explained that a typical day at her home includes her sons waking her up at 8 AM, eating dinner together and singing the songs from Frozen. At night, they sing the ABC’s while brushing their teeth.

In the interview Bush-Harris expressed her future ambitions and interests, including doing voice over work, appearances, and talks, as well as get more involved in her community.

TONIGHT 9PM- Law enforcement broadly refers to any system by which some members of society act in an organized manner to enforce the law by discovering, deterring, rehabilitating or punishing persons who violate the rules and norms governing that society. Although the term may encompass entities such as courts and prisons, it is most frequently applied to those who directly engage in patrols or surveillance to dissuade and discover criminal activity, and those who investigate crimes and apprehend offenders. Police brutality is the wanton use of excessive force, usually physical, but also common in forms of verbal attacks and psychological intimidation, by a police officer. Currently, law enforcement is under attack due to brutality. However, who will you call the next you are in trouble? Dial 917-889-3926 to comment LIVE.
