    Grief: The Underlying Truth 2

    in Motivation

Today's episode is a continuation on a topic that has been on the discussion table that I felt compelled to bring forth so that people from all walks of life can finally gain closure and begin the healing process.

The last time, we heard and learned that grief caused by traumatic experiences affects us in some form of fashion.

    But what about the children?

How does traumatic experiences affect children all over the world?

How do they feel? How do they cope with these situations?

What goes on in their mind?

Today, I welcome young adults, teens (with parent permission), to call in and share how they feel when bad things happen to them, and just maybe it can shine some light on how us, adults, can grab a hold to our issues

    Ain't No Need To Worry

    in Spirituality

Stressed or experiencing anxiety over something? Jesus said, "And which of you by taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?"-Luke 12:25. In other words, can your worrying change anything about the situation or add a single hour to your life? Most certainly not. Or how about you trying to resolve the issues on your own...how's that working for you? As believers we must learn to cast our cares on Jesus. For He cares for us. He is our advocate with the Father. The Father loves us, and desires to see us allow Him to be God in our lives. All that's required is complete surrender. Let go and let God have it.

To say don't worry, be happy is a tough pill to swallow today,

    in Christianity

The rich tells the poor how lucky they are, they have nothing to watch over or no big job with lots of stress.

The poor tells the rich, if I had your monty I would be happy.

But in either group we worry, and we ask why, when we have the answers in the Bible, let's look.

Stephanie Scheller is the #1 best selling author of the book Friend Power: How the Friends You Choose Can Change Your Life (available on Amazon at bit.ly/FriendPowerBook). Don C Harris, author of THINK RED INK, is a former pastor who was plagued by an inability to accept the illogical explanations of traditional Christianity. He quit. For 20+ years he traveled to all 48 contiguous states as well as to Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria and Israel looking for answers. What did he find? "Red ink ... Jesus came to teach us to think." Don is an anomaly, a Christian - a follower of Jesus, who refuses to worship the Bible. He does not skip verses to avoid awkward questions, nor does he believe in its inerrancy, yet, he lives by it.
