Daryl and Taylor revive the "On This Day" feature of the Total Soccer Show to discuss Jurgen Klinsmann's famous goal-scoring celebration. On August 20, 1994, the then-Tottenham Hotspur forward mocked his growing reputation for diving by... well... doing just that, hurling his body to the ground following a lovely header against Sheffield Wednesday. The celebration had roots going back at least 4 years, and perhaps even 50, and would prove a hit with players in both England and beyond.
We've made it! The season is almost over, and by the next time you hear Jack and I, we'll be talking about a Randy Lerner statement, Paul Lambert's sacking, and brand new owners!
Or something like that. But before we get there, we've got to cover the final days of the season. The vital win against Hull City, the insipid loss to Manchester City, and the upcoming something or other to Tottenham Hotspurs. In between we'll be discussing the future of the club. Does Lambert have a job after this weekend? When will we hear from Lerner? Any chance that we bring in the 5th-richest man in the world to own the club?
In this episode, we first looked back at the 0-0 draw for Fulham against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
In the second half of the show, we previewed the upcoming match for Fulham with Tottenham Hotspur, which includes the return of Clint Dempsey and Mousa Dembele to Craven Cottage. I hope you can listen to this episode.
This is our Post-Match show of the Fulham 2-1 loss to Spurs

Being born and raised in London I know this isn't the first time that rioting has happened because the people are feeling disenfranchised. What is distressing is the magnitude of the emotion and the violence that has erupted and the way in which it has swept the country.
While the reasons for the rioting are complex, the solutions have to be simple and implementable. This impromptu show is all about what can be done so this doesn't happen again. Olivia my co-host who will be coming to us live from London and our two guests Michael and David are giving their prospective on what has happened, but more importantly what needs to be done. Please join us!
