This week is all about blessings and curses. How do we get the blessings of God? What causes curses to come upon our lives? The fundamentals of blessings and curses - and how we get each one is the major emphasis of this week's Torah Portion. We also learn about the importance of firstfruits in helping the poor and needy.
Join Charles and Rose Martin in this week's Torah Study called KiTavo which means 'when you come in,' Deuteronomy 26:1-29:9.
Parshah Vayeishev (Genesis 37:1-40:23)
The House of Seven Beggars Synagogue presents The Shul Torah Study. Each Wednesday at 8:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) we will explore the Parshah (Torah reading) of the week with your host, Rabbi Aryel Nachman ben Chaim - Senior Rabbi for the House of Seven Beggars Synagogue. The House of Seven Beggars Synagogue (http://sevenbeggars.com) is a virtual synagogue serving those of the Jewish community who are unable to attend a physical synagogue for reasons of distance, physical restrictions or lack of a Jewish community. It is our mission to ensure that every Jew who desires to be part of a community has that opportunity. The House of Seven Beggars Synagogue is a free and open traditional synagogue. Synagogue members and gusts are welcome to attend the studies.
