His experience led him to believe “in revealing the facts, no matter how dangerous… In the same spirit of exposing injustices and atrocities where I find them I don’t turn away from those I found within my own family history.”

Homophobia, Death Threats & Government Complicity: Jamaican LGBT's Under Attack!

    in Current Events

GLAAD has joined 20 other LGBT and human rights organizations in urging President Obama to address the persecution of LGBT people.  The criminalization of homosexuality in Jamaica dates back to the 1864 Offences Against the Person Act, which calls for a punishment of up to 10 years of hard labor for those convicted of the “abominable crime of buggery.”  In this episode, Nicholas is joined by Jamaican-born author and photographer and former US Navyman Max-Arthur Mantle, and Jamaican lawyer, LGBTI activist, and educator Maurice Tomlinson, who himself has received death threats.

Mantle's new novel BATTY BWOY comes out April 15th.  Tomlinson is a Jamaican lawyer, LGBTI activist, and educator. For nearly twenty years, he has been working with a variety of local and international agencies to combat homophobia and HIV across the Caribbean. He is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and partners with various national and regional stakeholders to promote and protect the human rights of Caribbean LGBTI people.

    Jay Ajayi echo chamber

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 119: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion is buying Jameis Winston in redraft and dynasty fantasy football leagues.

QB1 drought is coming and Winston, Mariota, Cardale Jones, and Connor Cook alone can't stop it.

Touting Jameis Winston, Breshad Perriman and Tevin Coleman is an unintentionally strategic contrarian bell tower cave.

Recent 6-2 or taller NFL wide receivers with a 35+% dominator and sub-4.40 speed:

    Calvin Johnson
    Julio Jones
    Stephen Hill
    Robert Meachem
    Kevin White
    Breshad Perriman

Running backs w/ sub-4.50 speed who also ran for 2000 yards in college:

    Barry Sanders
    Ladanian Tomlinson
    Marcus Allen
    Tony Dorsett
    Matt Forte
    Ray Rice
    Kevin Smith
    JJ Arrington
    Tevin Coleman

Fantasy football is rife with diluted anti-hot take analysis.

Lamenting the Bleacher Reporterizing of fantasy football article writing.

Tevin Coleman delivers the jaw-dropping aesthetic majesty combined with tremendous on-field efficiency, yet Coleman also inspires inordinate stat parsing and subjective style criticism.

Jay Ajayi is a cross between Andre Williams & Terrance West. Ajayi is a compiler with a notoriously bad knee whose college coaches proceeded to run into the ground.

The Mountain Whack conference offers cupcake opponents like Utah State and Wyoming.

Week of the NFL Draft: the worst week of football analysis.

Advanced metrics, prospect evaluations, and fantasy football information were provided by PlayerProfiler.com.
