Bigfoot Ground Zero - Todd Neiss Research Updates / Les Stroud Research Analysis

    in Pop Culture

On tonight's program, Todd will update us on what he's been doing since our last interview.  Todd has put together a unique, four stage research plan, and will review it with us.  Todd will also share his thoughts on some cutting edge technology that he will soon employ.

During the intervidew, I asked for Todd's opinion on Les Stroud's research, his show, and what Todd's overall opinion is of how Les is approaching the subject.  Todd has served as a consultant of sorts for Les, and has had his ideas used for production on the show.

    As always, thanks for listening!

    Best, Dave

    in Paranormal

In continuing the series for the North American Sasquatch Researcher, Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio is excited to bring you a husband-wife duo, Todd and Diane Neiss.

Eyewitness turned researcher, Todd Neiss is an Active Duty Staff Sergeant in the Oregon Army National Guard; and a veteran of the Iraq War.  He founded the “American Primate Foundation” in 1998.  Actively researching these elusive creatures for over two decades, Neiss has been the subject of many television shows and documentaries and has been a featured speaker at numerous Bigfoot conferences across the U.S. and Canada.  He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies from Grantham University.

Diane Stocking Neiss is currently employed by the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) and founded “Stocking Hominid Research” in 2007.  She too has given lectures at various conferences as well as appeared on television. Diane became interested in Bigfoot at a very young age and went on to conduct research in the Southeastern United States as far back as 1974.  She co-authored the cryptozoological book “Elementum Bestia” in 2007. After visiting the Pacific Northwest in the 1990s, Stocking ultimately moved to Oregon, where she continues her research with her husband Todd.  Diane holds an Associate of Science degree in Forestry from Lake City Forestry College in Florida.

Todd & Diane Neiss live aboard a 42-foot motor yacht christened “Jadoo Shikari” (Hindu for “Mystery Hunter”) in Portland Oregon.  Upon retiring, they plan to utilize the yacht as a research vessel; exploring the numerous wilderness inlets along the British Columbian coastline in search of Bigfoot.  Equipped with a mast mounted remote-controlled FLIR camera, they intend to explore intercostal islands and scour their shorelines and interior for any evidence of these elusive creatures.

NFC West - NFL Preview; can Russell Wilson lead Seahawks to a third Super Bowl

    in Sports

Pete Carroll will never dodge his play call, in the Super Bowl.  However, there are more important things on Carroll's mind, as the 2015 season starts.  The biggest concern is how will the Seahawks win the NFC West, for a third consecutive year.  The St. Louis Rams have used additional picks, from the trade with Washington to stockpile young talented players. Often injured Sam Bradford is no longer the quarterback.  The Rams traded for Nick Foles, who is coming off a broken collarbone.  However, the addition of Todd Gurley could solidify the running game.

Carson Palmer is returning from a knee injury, in Arizona.  He hopes that he can continue were he left off last season.  The Cardinals defense willed them to a playoff berth, after a carousel of quarterbacks stood behind center.  Still a major concern is running back.  Andre Ellington is the starter, but can he handle the workload?

The fiasco with Jim Harbaugh is over, and the San Francisco 49ers have moved on.  A suprise move to many, they named defensive line coach Jim Tomsula, head coach.  Nothing went right for the 49ers one year ago.  Chris Boreland looked to be a budding star but opted to retire, after one season.  Defensively, they are going to have to try and find an indentiy.  Offensively, long time running back Frank Gore has departed.  This opens the door for Carlos Hyde to be the primary back.  Will Tomsula work with Colin Kaepernick, or try to make him a pocket passer.  There are many questions surrounding the 49ers?

Finally, Jimmy Graham is the answer inside the red zone, according to Seattle Seahawk fans.  After back to back Super Bowl appearences, the Seahawks traded for one of the best tight ends, in the NFL.  The biggest loss is the person whom they traded, Max Unger.  Russell Wilson is a scrambling quarterback, but you still need to protect him.

    Here's to You Mrs. Robinson

    in Finance

In one scene in the 1967 movie, “The Graduate,” the recent college graduate, Benjamin, is floating in his parent’s pool when his father confronts him about his future.

Mr. Braddock: Ben, what are you doing?

Benjamin: Well, I would say that I'm just drifting. Here in the pool.

    Mr. Braddock: Why?

Benjamin: Well, it's very comfortable just to drift here.

Mr. Braddock: Have you thought about graduate school?

    Benjamin: No.

Mr. Braddock: Would you mind telling me then what those four years of college were for? What was the point of all that hard work?

    Benjamin: You got me.

Is that what you feel? You are going into college and you don’t have a plan for what you will do after graduation?
