Teen hosts Sydney, Dylan, and Kaitlyn discuss reasons that tobacco smoking is still an issue, how tobacco companies market to young people, and ways to quit smoking or help a loved one quit.
Teen Talk supports the Great American Smokeout, which occurs on the third Thursday of November and encourages smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit, or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.
For more information on how you can quit, visit nysmokefree.com or call 1-866-697-8487.

On todays show, Rosie & Jason are going to discuss the benefits of: Activated Charcoal; Lemons; Carrot Seed hydrosols; pomegranates; black sea salt and black seed oil.
People have been using activated charcoal for thousands of years. In World War I, activated charcoal was used in gas masks to prevent soldiers from being poisoned by chemical exposure, and it has been used to treat water (making it tasteless and odorless) since 1930.
Until a few months ago, I really was not aware of the enormous benefits of activated charcoal (also known as activated carbon). However, I soon learned that this substance provides a number of amazing benefits.
We are going to be accepting calls the last half hour of the show however we ask that your calls relate to the topics we are discussing today. The call-in number is 1-714-888-7516
The show will be hosted by Rosalea, Jason and Numa and is sponsered by Blended Herbal Treasures at www.blendedherbaltreasures.com

Join us as The Vito and Vito Show welcome the founder of New York City’s Citizens Lobbying Against Smokers Harassment, (CLASH) Audrey Silk. Audrey’s calling in tonight to discuss NYC’s ridiculous anti-smoking laws and regulations including the ban on smoking in bars and restaurants, the ban of E-Cigarettes in indoor places, the violation of property rights, the increase in the age to buy tobacco from 18 to 21 in NYC and her organization. Find out more tonight!
Vito and Vito discuss the latest from the VA
Scandal and how it is a preview for universal healthcare on a national scale.
Also, in New York City, Mayor Bloomberg's tobacco law took effect this past week. You now have to be 21 to buy any tobacco products in the city. Is this right? Does it effectively help the youth? Remember, you have to be 21 to buy it, yet older than 14 to use it.
The Brooklyn Republican Party this year officially did not grant one Wilson-Pakula to any Democrat, the first time in a very long time. Vito and Vito discuss the original court case and if it is beneficial in the long run of politics.
Our guest this morning is Loyd Kattro, owner of Earthquake Water Products.
Scouting taught Loyd to ‘Be Prepared’ and the 1971 Sylmar earthquake caused him to become interested in seismology.
Loyd worked in the construction industry for over 20 years building houses and built a brewery in 2007 to withstand an 8.0 earthquake.
He’s been participating in the Shake Out since 2008.
In 2013, Loyd was asked if swimming pool water could be used as a resource after a earthquake. That led him to develop a water filter system to do it. Watching the water infrastructure in LA fail without a quake prompted him to make this system available to the public now.
