And this week's featured artist is Juston Stens. After playing drums for six years in the popular indie-rock band Dr. Dog, Stens set out on his own to front his own band, the Get Real Gang, and play his own songs. A self-taught guitar player, bassist, piano player, drummer and singer, Stens challenged himself by traveling across America on a motorcyle to connect with musician friends across the country and record songs in their personal spaces. The journey was documented in the recent film by Andrew Stubbs, I Lay Where I Fall, which premiered at the Nashville Film Festival in April. The resulting musical collaborations are available now for the first time on the album, Share the Road.
