    'Tis the Corporate Giving Season

    in Business

Corporations and those who lead them have become the strong and vital patrons of our culture.  They sponsor and advocate for our arts, education, hospitals, and our environment.  Our community charities depend on our businesses, and our businesses depend on a good relationship with their community.  This week host Bart Jackson invites Thomas Bakewell, author of Claiming Your Place at the Boardroom Table, to discuss how business people may plan charitable strategies that create a win-win for both givers and recipients.  It's all part of being a good corporate neighbor, and now, in this season of generosity, 'tis time to take pause and consider the best ways to use our resources for the benefit of all.  As always, those who give and those given unto are each bless the other.

December 22: Tis' The Season Of Asininity

    in Sports

Tis' the season for asininity! Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo celebrate the holiday season by waxing poetic on Jim Carrey, Jerry "the King" Lawler, and BE Taylor.

With the sports calendar year coming to and end, it needed to go out strong with contoversy. When you want controversy, look no further than the NCAA. Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, and Ohio State sounds like a solid college football playoff, right? Mike rants on why the committee did NOT get it right. Is the Big 12 to blame for Baylor and TCU being left out? How can the Big 12 ensure this doesn't happen again? What were the "real" reason Ohio State was selected? If you want some clarity on everything that was asinine about this college football season, listen to Mike explain it to George (as usual).

The MLB hot-stove is already heating up. Are the Dodgers better or just different? Did the White Sox make themselves an AL favorite? What team should we watch the rest of the offseason?

Rajon Rondo has finally been traded. Does his move to Dallas make the Mavs a legit contender in the brutal Western Conference?

A merry Howitzer and Buzz-saw Christmas and a happy asinine new year! Continued conquering of sports radio, one day, at a time for all....!

    'Tis the 'Season'...NOT Sinuses!

    in Health

According to the American Academy of Otolaryngology, almost 12 percent of the United States population suffer from at least one episode of acute sinusitis annually.

Fortunately, the natural world provides us with many foods - or seasonings -  that are effective at cleaning the sinuses and killing the bacteria and viruses responsible for these issues.

There are three specific ingredients that do the job!

"The Red Pill" LIVE - The Akashic Records w/ Jessica Arael Marocco

    in Pop Culture

This week Joseph Peterson & Steve McManus dig deeper in to the Rabbit Hole into The Akashic Records w/ Jessica Arael Marocco. What are they? How do you gain access? Jessica will answer those questions plus more on a variety of topics

    About Jessica (Arael) Marrocco:

Certified Past Life Regressionist QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique)

    Certified Akashic Record Reader

    Psychic/ Intuitive/ MediumI

It is a known fact that we all have hints of psychic ability.  As a child, I tended to daydream and stretch my imagination to the limits. It wasn't until my late 20's and early 30's that I began seeing visions in the form of a movie within my "third eye" or "inner vision".

I can distinctly recall a particular vision where I saw myself wearing historical period clothing and interacting with someone who I apparently shared a past life with. At the time, I was startled and not sure about what was happening. Little did I know that I was tapping into the Akashic Records. Years later I began to get more in-depth in my studies of meditation, clearing of karma and chakras points and other psychic intuitive training.

In time, I became aware that this ability could help others retrieve their past-life experiences to identify how their present life is revealed through their past.

The Akashic Records are a Sanscrit word meaning "sky", "space" or "aether". The records are described as containing all knowledge of the human experience and the history of the cosmos."

Others have referred to the Akashic Records as the Biblical Book of Life.

Tis the Season for Sports Fighting

    in Sports

The Holidays bring out the best (and sometimes worst) in all of us. In this episode, it's the latter:

    - We start in the NFL where the Cowboys face redemption or relegation, the Commsioner finally seems to get it (sort of) and the playoff picture just begins to gel

    - Well the College Playoff board has spoken. Did they get it right? Mr Feltman and Mr Bowers debate it heavily and we make our selections for the CFB Power Hour Challenge

    - Mick's Pub is all decorated for the season and it's proprietor spins us yarns about current events, movies, cars and so much more

    - What a night for our resident Cubs Fan! Mr. Feltman and Mr. Copening break down all the latest from the Winter Meetings in baseball

    - We finish with News and Notes including Liverpool out, Monte gets dinged, the Stars preach patience, Donovon goes out on top and more

All that and your calls at (347) 308-8637

So listen LIVE Wed Dec 10th from 830-1030p CST or anytime after on Itunes (search The Sports Narrative under Podcasts) or at www.thesportsnarrative.com
