What if you were to fall in love with you? How would this change your relationships? Could you imagine if you fully loved yourself, honoured yourself, respected yourself, appreciated yourself, valued yourself and enjoyed your own company? How dynamically that would change your entire universe?!
Basically - Take yourself out on a date!
Do something nice for yourself i.e. cook a special meal, have a hot bath with candles, give yourself a foot massage
Take yourself somewhere special i.e. cinema, gallery, a show, out in nature
Journal about your experience – what came up for you? How did you feel?
The more you take care of you and nurture you the more that you will be able to receive that kindness and caring from others. Start with you. Change your inner world and your outer world will be transformed.

Who were the first Black Elected Officials? During the month of November, as the country gears up to re-elect or vote in the next wave of politicians, Black Reconstruction will revisit the Reconstruction era to pay homage to the Black Men who came before Obama. During this tumultuous time, Blacks not only established townships, they also positioned themselves to be an integral part of government.
At a Glance.. In 1855, Brownhelm Township, founded by Col. Henry Brown, gained notoriety throughout the U.S, when the township elected an African-American to government office. The NY Syracuse Daily Journal, May 31, 1855 reported that John Mercer Langston was a fugitive slave who had been elected clerk. Brownhelm's early residents had long been known for their strong anti-slavery stance; and Col. Henry Brown's home on the Lake Shore was often a final stop on the Underground Railroad, before reaching Canada by boat.
African-American Firsts: Government
Local elected official: John Mercer Langston, 1855, town clerk of Brownhelm Township, Ohio.
State elected official: Alexander Lucius Twilight, 1836, the Vermont legislature.
Governor (appointed): P.B.S. Pinchback served as governor of Louisiana from Dec. 9, 1872-Jan. 13, 1873, during impeachment proceedings against the elected governor.
U.S. Representative: Joseph Rainey became a Congressman from South Carolina in 1870 and was reelected four more times.
U.S. Senator: Hiram Revels became Senator from Mississippi from Feb. 25, 1870, to March 4, 1871, during Reconstruction.
Life Lessons from Veterans series continues with Val Nicholas.

Network Marketing is something we can do but only if you don't like working a 9-5 job
there is something about a job that i like but there is another side that i don't like about a job they control you and tell you what to do and most of the time they talk down to you
there is always something about a job and you always have negative people that try and make you believe that the negative is true
A party is what i am having and its a interactive show where you can call in any time. .

Ever wonder where Gospel music, as we know it, started? Was it Mississippi or Georgia, Texas or somewhere in Ohio? Could it have been Chicago, Illinois?
Well, we did too and to answer that question you would need a historian. Someone who has studied long and hard with a passion for truth and is qualified to shed light on this topic by sharing their knowledge, research and experience. We found several individuals and tonight’s guest is one of them.
Bob Marovich is a gospel music historian, author, and radio host. “Gospel Memories,” a radio program of classic gospel, spiritual, and jubilee music, airs on Chicago’s WLUW-FM.
Bob writes about classic and contemporary gospel music as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Gospel Music (www.journalofgospelmusic.com). The website, formerly known as The Black Gospel Blog, was nominated for a Rhythm of Gospel Award in 2013.
Bob’s work has been published widely in reference books and His first book, “A City Called Heaven: Chicago and the Birth of Gospel Music”, will be published in March 2015 by the University of Illinois Press - Music in American Life Series.
Join Host Petula Beckles as Bob shares his wealth of Gospel Music knowledge with us tonight.
Listen in as Robert Uzzell and Chip Mitchell discuss Saturday night's matchup between Gennady Golovkin and Martin Murray. We will also talk about:
Keith Thurman/Robert Guerrero
Adrien Broner/John Molina, Jr
Shawn Porter/Roberto Garcia
Andre Berto/Josesito Lopez
Sergey Kovalev/Jean Pascal
Adonis Stevenson/Sakio Bika
Danny Garcia/Lamont Peterson
