Macie is a border collie who lost a leg after a car accident, but that doesn't stop her from dog disk, (frisbee) competion and herding! She is full of energy, love and life and is an inspiration for all.
Dorothy is a very spunky seven year old Yorkie who became paralyzed by the hands of her previous owners children, when they threw her down the stairs using her as a football. She’d like to make it clear, she’s a dog not a toy!
With the love and compassion of United Yorkie Rescue and her favorite Auntie Jennifer, Dorothy found a foster home, turned forever home, where she has been allowed to heel, thrive and now rule her domain.
Also joining the show is Annie Blumenfeld from Wags 4 Hope.

Experts in the service dog industry, Jeanne Hampl and Darcie Boltz share their perspective on a family highlighted with Matt Lauer who have a service dog for their small child. Can we expect a young child to know how to properly handle a dog by herself? During the interview the dog showed signs of stress that the general public wouldn't recognize, but had the dog industry ignite - like panting and yawning. This interview brings up a larger topic of service dog welfare that gets lost in the "feel-good" stories, like this, that get ignorantly run in the media all the time. My question is: WHAT ABOUT THE DOG?
