Ernest Lee Thomas (born March 26, 1949) is an American actor. He was born in Gary, Indiana. He is best known for his role as Roger "Raj" Thomas on the 1970s ABC sitcom What's Happening!!, and its 1980s syndicated sequel, What's Happening Now!!, and for his recurring role as Mr. Omar on Everybody Hates Chris.Thomas began his professional acting career as a Broadway actor, appearing in the 1974 revival production of Love for Love and in the 1975 revival of The Member of the Wedding. Both shows starred actress Glenn Close. Shortly after he moved to LA to pursue a career as a TV/film actor. In the fall of 1975 he received a role on an episode of The Jeffersons. It was during the taping of the show that he learned of an audition for the upcoming comedy sitcom What's Happening!!, loosely based on the 1975 film Cooley High. White Girl Bleed A Lot - Colin Flaherty

    in Politics Conservative

Racial tension and violence in the Black community is at an all time high.  People of all races are scared and also tired of not feeling safe in their own neighborhoods.  Recent acts of violence, riots, and murders have set us all on edge.

Today I am honored to have as my guest Colin Flaherty.

Colin Flaherty is an award winning reporter and author of the #1 best selling book White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it.

His new book is Knockout Game a Lie? Aww, Hell No.

Both books are about black mob violence, black on white crime and the Knockout Game.

His  work has appeared in more than 1000 news sites around the world, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine.  His story about how a black man was unjustly convicted of trying to kill his white girlfriend resulted in his release from state prison and was featured on Court TV, NPR, The Los Angeles Times and San Diego Union-Tribune.

Thomas Sowell: ”Reading Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.” – National Review.

Sean Hannity: White Girl Bleed a Lot  “has gone viral.”

Allen West: “At least author Colin Flaherty is tackling this issue (of racial violence and black on white crime) in his new book, White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it.“

Los Angeles Times: “a favorite of conservative voices.”

True Confessions--When Your Body Demands A Makeover: Type 2 Diabetes

    in Weight Loss

I am still getting over the initial shock.  The innocent looking letter arrived from my doctor on April 11th. I quickly opened it, read through it and everything looked pretty normal. Test results … all negative.  Except one. My Hemoglobin A1c was elevated.  It is a blood test that is used to monitor the control of blood sugars.

It indicated that I had type 2 diabetes.

I had two choices.  Do nothing and the insulin shots and medication would soon follow.  Or IMMEDIATELY change my eating habits, exercise and permanently change my lifestyle.

Listen to today’s show and find out what I did next.
