Ladies of the Diner Are Talking Chocolate, Music by Thirty Steps to Forward

    in Entertainment

The Ladies of the Diner, Mary E. and Diane B., are slipping into their summer time slot at 9am. They will be celebrating chocolate! Musical guests: Thirty Steps to Forward Thirty Steps to Forward is composed of Seth and Gretchen Powers, a brother and sister folk duo residing amid the tall trees of Michigan. Their feet are constantly tapping to the beating of birds' wings and the sounds of their father's music. Through their strings and voices, the kindred duo strive to sing and play songs of the delicate heart. If you incline your ear you might hear the hand of a girl and boy plucking out the vein of modern music and replacing it with that dusty old heart.

The Signs Of The Times! A Study of Matthew 24

    in Christianity

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

A Warning Against Hypocrisy! A Study of Matthew 23

    in Christianity

29 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30 And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started.

Do You Love God? A Study of Matthew 22

    in Christianity

I ask the question, do you love God?  If you love God, you can't hate your neighbor, or anyone.  For to love God you must love others. Hate for your fellow man/woman, is not pleasing to God.  Just a reminder, hate is not of God, for God is love.

"36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

"37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[d] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[e] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

As Erica Campbell so elequently spoke on her new single, "I luh God"

    "I'm forgiven, I'm forgiven
See I done been forgiven, now I'm living
And when I say I love, I mean it
Cuz none of this means nothing if He comes and I miss Him!"

"I Luh, God, You don't luh God?
    What's wrong with chu?"

"I love Him, I love Him
    Love Him, Love Him..."

"So I ask you again, do you love God?"
