Since then he has studied with Jorma at the Fur Peace Ranch, and studies with Pat Donohue and Mike Dowling.

Step One: "We admitted "WE" were powerless over alcohol (addiction) - that our lives had become unmanagable." Who cares to admit complete defeat? Admission of powerlessness is the first step in liberation. Relation of humility to sobriety. Mental obession plus physical allergy, and spiritual malady. Why must every A.A. hit bottom? We know that little good can come to any alcoholic who joins A.A. unless he has first accepted his alcoholism (addiction) and all its consequences. Until he so humbles himself, his sobriety - if any - will be null and void. Of real happiness he will find none at all. Proved beyond doubt by an immense experience, this is one of the facts of A.A. life. The principle that we shall find no enduring strength until we first admit complete defeat is the main taproot from which our whole Society has sprung and flowered. It is a statistical fact that alcoholics/addicts almost never recover on their own resources, and this has been true ever since man has been crushing grapes.
Few people will sincerely try to practice the A.A. program unless they have hit bottom. For practicing A.A.'s remaining eleven Steps means the adoption of attitudes and actions that almost no alcoholic who is still drinking can dream of taking. Who wishes to be rigorously honest and tolerant? Who wants to confess his faults to another and make restitution for harm done? Who cares anything about a Higher Power/God let alone meditation and prayer? Who wants to sacrifice time and energy in trying to carry A.A.'s message to the next sufferer? No, the average alcoholic, self-centered in the extreme, doesn't care for this prospect - unless he has to do these things in order to stay alive himself. Join me and my special guest Monty Meyer aka the Monty'man from Take12radio.com this Fri nite Mar 27th at 9pm CT as we discuss dfferent versions of how people see the steps worked, then the proper way to work the steps
Get Turned up tonight with the Thinking Team as Brandon & Arvelle Draper talk about how do we create momemtum in our lives when we have been defeated so many times before. Life keeps hitting you and never lets up but do you have what it takes to overcome. Never allow your low to define who you are, just know that it is not over until you win. So you must prepare for the storm so that you will not lose any momentum through the chaos.

We are wrapping up step 6 to freedom: Present Moment. Listening to your intuition will support you to become clear. As you only focus on the here and now, you let go of the clutter in your mind. You let go of the worry of the future, and the guilt of the past, allowing the present to be clear, so you can embrace it more fully. As you continue to take this step forward, your focus will increase. The next steps of action will present themselves to you. As you go for these risks and opportunities, fear may appear and want you to avoid them. Don't give in to fear. Avoiding future joy will not decrease future pain. Go for your dreams and live your life to the fullest. Take nothing and no one for granted. Love yourself and everything that comes your way. Accept fully the present in the present moment.
While it is true that we should work to be present with the moment we're in, sometimes that moment (for lack of a better term) sucks. Today we'll be exploring how to shift our experience forward and tell ourselves a better story...one that inspires hope rather than fear and allows us to create the light at the end of the tunnel without turning it into the lamp of an oncoming train.
After the show I'll be logging into the chatroom to answer question and comments. You can also reach me by email at email@example.com to arrange a private consultation.

Inner Radiance of family life starts with one person, one parent, one family at a time. I know all too well how the many complex layers that make up our "family life" demand our time, attention, and energy. We want to be fully present for our kids because we love to share in those experiences. This how we create connections and memories that will live on in our hearts. Filling the well of Self-care for ourself as mom's is something we know is vital. The practice and engagment of that in our daily life actions can be completely another story. Frankly, we put off the things we most need to fill the need of another family member. But, when do we go back and reframe that balance?
3 steps to "push the reset button" ensuring the cleansing, maintaining, and creating our most Radiant Day.
Creating a simple 3 step plan to keep Radiant self-care at the center of our being, to Radiate Self-love.
