Life takes us through many journeys. If our eyes are open we grow from each experience. The thing it teaches us all is that nothing is set in stone. That change is the only constant. That the diversity is what intrigues us. That we are the sum of previous thoughts. That what we are experiencing right now is what we invisioned to be the case. This station will not have a rigid format to start. Instead it will ebb between, health, life, love and living. There will be no topic out of bounds and it will incourage critical thinking. But it will settle for dead beat humor. Sarcastic remarks and being able to laugh at yourself.
So much in society and the in the media manipulates how men and women view each other. Not to mention what some of us were exposed to in our childhood and well into our adult years. Whether it be friendships and relationships, we take lessons and experiences from them and that also molds how and what we think of the opposite sex. This show more will be focusing on African Americans but more specifically African American Men and how they view African American Women. It is very disheartening and discouraging to hear the use of the word "Bitch" and "Hoe" used so frequently. When asking men what do they love most about black women, the answers were so basic. They ranged from "they're the most strongest of all races and they are beautfiul." That was the only positive responses about black women. But when asked about what they didn't like or agree with, the list was a mile long. More negative things to say than positive. There has to be more things beautiful about our black women than that, or is there? Let's talk to the guys and see what they really think about black women. This is an open forum discussion! All calls are welcomed.

We sometimes spend years in relationships looking for "Mr. Right" or "Mrs. Right" but we're unsure if we should marry the person we're involved with because they have a few faults. So we stay unmarried, waiting for our loved one to manifest the perfection we desire. Of course, that never happens. How can we know if our expectations are unrealistic? If you've been dating someone for a length of time, you think you're in love, but you hesitate to take that final step because there are a few things about your loved one you don't quite like, is it possible your standards too high? We sometimes enter marriage with unrealistic expectations, nitpicking over the faults of our spouse, never quite feeling like we're "happily married." We spend the entire marriage in a state of discontent, concentrating on what we don't like about our lved one, so much that we miss the opportunity to enjoy the things we do like. How do we know when we're being overly critical of our loved one? If you've been married for a length of time, you love your spouse, yet you find yourself always complaining to them about the little things they do that you don't like, is it possible your standards are too high? How do we learn to stop critcizing, overlook small faults and be content with the one we love?
