There's been a lot scurrying and "clarifying", in response to comments made by Dr. Ben Carson, regarding his concern about supporting a Muslim for president of the United States, based on the notion that "Sharia Law" is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. .
As expected, the reaction from some Muslims was one of immediate outrage, with some calling for Carson to withdraw his candidacy.
In the aftermath, besides Dr. Carson stating that he wouldn't support a Christian who wanted theocracy (Christian Sharia), as this would put him at odds with the same Constitution.
One of the Muslim respondents has gone on record to defend Dr. Carson, saying that "a Sharia promoting Muslim cannot be the President of the USA, with its wonderful Constitution".
Hold on,we haven't even put a candidate out there, and already, we're dictating what that candidate can or cannot do!
A few thoughts come to mind, when I try to assess these statements and positions:
1) Does anyone of us here, know the Constitution from a scholarly standpoint, to qualify that this and Islamic Sharia are by design, incompatible?
2) If a believer, be he or she Muslim or Christian, avers that their Books are the irrefutable words and mandates from God, why would that person defer to the Constitution, outright?
3) What is Sharia in the first place? Are the images we've seen of "Sharia" in action, much less the penal aspects of it, fair and accurate examples?
4) Are Muslims conceding that the Qur'an and Sunnah are not consistent with the Constitution, which would support Dr. Carson's arguement?
5) Does the Constitution provide an opportunity for "Sharia Law" to be woven into its fabric?

Owing to the widespread misunderstanding of traditional Cherokee Lifeways, and owing to the recent victimization of Cherokee descendants yearning to be taught The Old Ways, who are being misinformed by fraudulent (and sometimes even malicious) people claiming to teach ancient ways, but who are actually teaching false precepts, tonight we will be explaining and setting in order "Traditional Cherokee Governments."
Our guest is Principal Chief Charles Layton "Jahtlohi (Kingfisher) Rogers M.D. (Oncologist), who is also Chief Priest of Nacion Cherokee de Mexico a/k/a "The Cherokee Nation of Sequoyah of Mexico, Texas the USA Reservation and Church" which is the USA entity of The Cherokee Nation of Mexico, (Nacion Cherokee de Mexico) federally recognized by The Republic of Mexico.
The Kingdom Church at Cheltenham Mall is where people rediscover the Kingdom, their identity and divine destiny. As you make God's Kingdom and righteousness your number one priority something keeps happening to you. There is a transformation that takes over that makes you to become progressively more like the one who created you. The Kingdom of God is the active reign of God over a territory and over a people impacting them with His will producing in them the culture of their Kingdom citizenship.

Government Taxes Replace Theocratic Tithes (Romans 13:1-7) Paul is speaking specifically about governmental authorities, directing that taxes be paid to the state. In this case, Rome had replaced the theocracy in the governing of Israel. Though the Law of Moses was respected as tradition by the Romans, and the Israelites were allowed to follow the commandments, Israel was no longer a theocracy, and was not free to worship God the way God had commanded them to.
Summary of Tithing Under Grace Throughout the New Testament, Paul's vocabulary and teaching suggest that giving is voluntary and that there is no set percentage. In fact, nowhere in the New Testament are believers told to tithe by anyone! Or even how much to give, when or to whom. They are only encouraged to provide for those who are in need, their ministers, and for the stranger.
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
Under Law? Under the Law, relationship with God is defined by how well you fulfill His commandments. Anyone can attempt do this; you don't have to know God to tithe. Tithing doesn't bring anyone into a closer relationship with God or with others, and it doesn't contribute to a relationship that already exists.
Grace Full Relationship! We still find it so hard to comprehend that the God of the universe loves us so much that there is nothing He requires of us but to accept His love. He provides for us because He loves us.

"So Let Each One Give as He Purposes in His Heart" (2 Corinthians 9:1-15)
Paul not only exhorts the Corinthians to live up to their promise, but it is also a reminder that what they are giving was received through God's liberality. It is because they have a generous God that they can give generously. In contrast to the Law, we can give because God has already provided for all of our needs.
"You Surely Did Care, But You Lacked Opportunity" (Philippians 4:10-20)
Paul here exhorts that giving should not only be a condition of the heart, but a concerted effort as well. That acknowledging the desire to care for others is not enough, it must be acted upon with joy.

Summary of Tithing Under Grace
Throughout the New Testament, Paul's vocabulary and teaching suggest that giving is voluntary and that there is no set percentage. In fact, nowhere in the New Testament are believers told to tithe by anyone! Or even how much to give, when or to whom. They are only encouraged to provide for those who are in need, their ministers, and for the stranger. Giving in the New Testament is a reflection of the believers' new nature; the nature of God is to give. So even if we don't feel like it, we are now giving, liberal people. (There does seem, however, to be a need for training in this area.) "For God so loved, He gave..."
8 Behold, mine house is a house of order, saith the Lord God, and not a house of confusion.
9 Will I accept of an offering, saith the Lord, that is not made in my name?
Or will I receive at your hands that which I have not appointed? (Doctrine and Covenants 132:8–10)
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.” (Joseph Smith—History 1:19)
20 And the Gentiles are lifted up in the pride of their eyes, and have stumbled, because of the greatness of their stumbling block, that they have built up many churches; nevertheless, they put down the power and miracles of God, and preach up unto themselves their own wisdom and their own learning, that they may get gain and grind upon the face of the poor.
21 And there are many churches built up which cause envyings, and strifes, and malice.
(2 Nephi 26:20–21)
27 And it came to pass that when two hundred and ten years had passed away--after visitation to American Continent by Jesus! My Jesus!--there were many churches in the land; yea, there were many churches which professed to know the Christ, and yet they did deny the more parts of his gospel, insomuch that they did receive all manner of wickedness, and did administer that which was sacred unto him to whom it had been forbidden because of unworthiness. (4 Nephi 1:27)
No inscrutable fictional God existed prior to A.D. 1 or A.D. 325. And the world did not become overpopulated under the B.C. population but the wold swiftly populated since Christianity was inaugurated. Why since God and Jesus come into society people started to have more sex, and overpopulate earth. Why since the holy spirit came there are more mentally ill people, unable to use words correctly, people began to kill each other senselessly far more than anquity. In recent civilizations, such at the time of Sargon, Hammurabi I have not read of any their society killing itselt. And the Sumerians of Mesopotamia then believed that the Gods ruled the cities, which made it a theocracy, a government by divine authority. But eventually, however ruling power passed into the hands of worldly figures or kings. The Godessess and God no longer rule and no more paganism/polytheism but--monotheism under a spirit God, and the people's energy change and they turn unnatural and foolish and started to kill others and that was what God wanted.
Perhaps one of the most expansive Torah portions, Moses begins to address issues of societal life and how God wants Israel to perserve and protect their convenant relationship with Hashem
