She has worked and volunteered in diverse settings such as schools, health clinics, and prisons to enhance the lives and health of those clients. Jen believes that identifying and meeting her clients at their own personal starting point is key to radically shifting their quality of living to go from surviving to thriving. With more than 25 years of experience teaching yoga and numerous body work certifications - she is passionate about helping people feel their best.


    Jen most recently earned her Masters in Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist and certified health coach.  She helps her clients reduce pain and inflammation while increasing their energy and balancing their mood and hormones.

    About our guest: Dr. Ruby Thomas received her medical degree and completed her medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She is board certified in Pediatrics and has specialized training in Preventive Medicine. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Preventive Medicine, and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Prior to joining MBS Wellness, she practiced urgent care in the metro Atlanta area and held a faculty appointment at Morehouse School of Medicine department of Pediatrics. Dr. Thomas continues to hold a part-time faculty position with the Department of Preventive Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine. Her clinical and educational interests include integrative medicine, motivational interviewing, healing with nutrition, and preventing childhood obesity.  Dr. Thomas is a native of Atlanta. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, reading and painting.
