Tonight Auntie Joy & Lady Lexy the hosts of No Tea, No Shade join the brothers of The Foundation to present the female perspective of various topics.
The Foundation is a show featuring a group of strong african american men who are using internet media & social networking to address the concerns, as well as celebrate the accomplishments, within our community.
Doug Enyart, Constitution Party candidate for the 8th District US House seat (currently held by Jason Smith) and Dan Sexton, regional director of The John Birch Society, join us tonight. Both (individually and as representatives of their organizations) oppose calling an Article V Convention to propose amendments to the US Constitution. Mike Slack and Dave will discuss the solutions these gentleman and their organizations have to a problem we all agree exists and is growing larger. We will hear from them and take your questions and comments in this two-hour Saturday night special edition. Join us live at 7PM Missouri Time. Call and participate at 347-677-1835.
On today's episode, Michael V brings it to you real, straight and true from the heart. After having a perverbial fall to the dark side and battling some demons, Michael V is working his way out after a week and a half of not doing his DDP Yoga and making some seriously unwise and unhealthy food decisions. We will talk about depression and how powerful of a hold it can have on someone and how destructive it can be to an individual and those around that person. There are more harrowing tales to be sure, but tune in and after Michael tells his tale call in and voice your comments or stories. There are dark days and on those days it is hard to see the light but it is there. Tune in today, at 3:30 pm to The VDown with Michael V. There will be explicit language.
Eph 1:3-7 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:15-23 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Please welcome Susan Braun, CEO of The V Foundation to The Best Ever You Show. Jim Valvano's dream of finding a cure for cancer is one shared by millions. Although we have not yet achieved this goal, every day we get a little bit closer and will continue to honor his inspiring words, “Don’t Give Up . . . Don’t Ever Give Up!” ®
Serving as the heartbeat of The V Foundation for Cancer Research, formed by ESPN and Jim in 1993, his words throughout the ESPY speech have never been more meaningful. After being diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 46, Jim dreamed of finding cures for cancer. Passionate and committed, he wanted to see his fight through to victory. As a former coach, he began to recruit his team of family and friends to lead the Foundation in his quest to eradicate the disease.
Join us as Brandy Beyer talks about the guardianship of her father starting 1999 when he reitred. Throughout the years issues with guardianship and family members and the interference of the corrupt legal system have caused a great deal of distress.
We will be discussing the corrupt justice system in the state of Illinois as it relates to guardianship and the elderly.
