Known most for his epic superhero web series "Lucky Streak & the Crime Fighters," Kurt Donath has also been seen time and again winning one award after another at the 48 Hour Film Festival. In addition, he has made other short and feature films. Donath will talk about the making of a superhero film, surviving the pressure of the 48, marketing yourself in a convention setting and more.
Donath began in the film industry as a child actor as well. At the age of 10, he had his stage debut at the Lee Strassberg Actors Studio in Hollywood, CA. About the same time, he started writing screenplays. At age 19 he met his mentor, George Clayton Johnson, a revered science fiction writer. Johnson penned screenplays for the original "Twilight Zone" and classic films such as "Logan's Run." Kurt studied with him for two years before moving to South Florida with his family.
In South Florida, he enrolled at the International Fine Arts College (now re-named Miami University of Art and Design) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2002. He started his own film production company, Aberdeen Soldier in 2003 ... and the rest is history.

So you're either mad that the streak continues, obsessed with its endurance, or exhausted of its hype. Either way, the streak is the most dissected thing going.
Oh, you thought we meant The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania? Well, despite the boldness of one CM Punk, THAT may never end.
On The Exchange, Sumit & Jason are joined by long-time friends of the show, Michael Tillery of The Shadow League & The Starting Five and Paulsen of Sports Media Watch. As many in media - mainstream or independent, paid or not - scramble for written words in put the Miami Heat's 23-and-counting game win streak in context, the quartet will provide their thoughts on what these historic run means.
Whether it's in relation to another title run, the promises made in 2010, a still-unforgiven-for-some Decision or the continued ratings and marketing bonanza for the NBA going forward, the streak is the buzz of the American sports world for a reason.
Also, some pre-tournament thoughts as March Sadness... oops, Madness grips the nation.

the undertaker is 21-0 at wrestlemania and when the road of wrestlemania comes up everyone is wondering who going take on the streak at the event. like what triple h said once ''no one cares who takes on the title everyone tunes in to see who takes on the streak. cause no one holds a streak like him.'' and that true everyone tunes in on raw or smackdown and see who steps up. but undertaker said once he wants to take on the icon sting and have him stop the streak. now that would be a good match but it would be hard for impact and wwe to make a deal. but there has been words going around on who might step up and do it. but the only 2 people i see do it is stone cold steve austin or the icon sting and stop the streak. austin has alot of history with the undertaker inside and out of the ring. and the same way with the icon sting. but if there anyone who could do it i think it would be stone cold steve austin. there no one else who could end the streak. alot of people came close like cm punk, hbk, triple h and many others but they fallen to the deadman. but call in and give us your thoughts on who might do it. who might end the undertaker streak at wrestlemania 30

Tanna Frederick recently wrapped production on Henry Jaglom’s romantic mystery “Ovation” starring opposite James Denton. The story is set in the backstage world of theatre where the cast struggles to keep their play afloat while they search for a murder suspect amongst themselves.
She has two films coming out next year -- Jaglom’s romantic comedy “The M Word” (with Corey Feldman, Michael Imperioli and Frances Fisher) will be released in January/February, and “Garner, Iowa” where she stars as a single mother who returns to Iowa (Frederick’s hometown) to deal with her past, will be released in the spring.
She’s also hitting the boards in “The Rainmaker” at the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles Times gave it Critics’ Choice and said, “The standout of this terrific cast is Tanna Frederick’s acerbically yearning Lizzie…It’s a transformation not to be missed.”
Frederick's performance in her first feature with Jaglom, “Hollywood Dreams,” earned her Best Actress at WorldFest Houston, Montana International Film Festival, Fargo Film Festival and the Wild Rose Film Festival. The film took Best Picture honors at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival and to Best Comedy at WorldFest Houston. She was named Method Fest’s “Performer to Watch” and has also received the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival’s “Maverick” Award.
