Current statistics state that 53 percent of American children are being raised in single parent, female headed households. For African Americans, that number is significantly higher. Since the the past three generations, the percentages of fatherless homes have increased, meaning the examples for young boys on how to be husbands and fathers is missing. A mentor, a coach or a teacher with an occasional encouraging word is not enough. The young men in this generation need cultural training on how to create and maintain a family. Can we turn to our brothers on the continent of Africa whose cultural heritage may be a bit more intact and look for help with manhood training? Or are Africans just as emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged from racism as African Americans? Rev. Derrick Rice, co-founder of Let Us Make Man, has travelled to countries across Africa. He shares his perspective on the cultural practices of African families that prepare boys for manhood

Though the LORD Jesus referred to the distress of today as the beginnings of birthpain, nonetheless their occurrence was well intended to calibrate a season in which sooner than later, all sinners would become mourners; while repenting sinners would look unto Christ Jesus and mourn after a holy sort. Such a biblically promised shaking of the nations is what has today eventually caught up with mankind as the LORD purges off decay. Nonetheless, by pledging such a phenomenal distress and anguish of all time, the LORD did not fall short of highlighting the great escape that penitent sinners shall see in that hour.

For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."… Romans 13;8-9 Dr. Will Rogers Masterteacher33 Betzalel University
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced its intent to establish a negotiated rulemaking (RegNeg) committee to negotiate and develop proposed regulations to implement Section 32304 of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21). This section is concerning establishing minimum industry training requirement standards for entry-level drivers of commercial motor vehicles, an issue that has been ongoing for decades.
A Proposed Rule document has been issued by the FMCSA with the intent to establish the Entry-Level Driver Training Advisory Committee (ELDTAC) and is currently asking for solicitation of applications and nominations for committee membership. The final date to comment is set for January 9, 2015.
Our guest this evening is Richard Wilson, President and CEO of TCRG Consulting and Regulation. Mr. Wilson also serves on the Advisory Council as the Regulation and Compliance Representative for NATA: North American Trucking Alerts.
NATA will be nominating Mr. Wilson to the FMCSA committee based on his broad and extensive background within the industry, his active involvement in D.C., and his proven track record with concerns for safety and truck drivers' rights.
Discussion will focus on the critical need for CDL training standards as well as the goals of NATA as it continues its positive movement in gathering professional truck drivers and trucking industry leaders together to resolve the many issues that everyone within the industry is facing.

In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace we discuss our workshop/training and book: OBARIMA - Afurakani (African) Manhood. From the OBARIMA page on our website:
" ...OBARIMA (aw-beh'-ree-mah) is the name of our nhoma (book) defining Afurakani (African~Black) Manhood. OBARIMA Afurakani Manhood introduces a comprehensive set of seven principal values defining what it means to be an Afurakani obarima (African man).
OBARIMA is also the name of our workshop for Afurakani males from 13 years old to 30+ years old.
The principal values and their functional applications detailed in our publication form the basis of our workshop.
We have taught these principal values of OBARIMA in various settings and have seen the eagerness with which Afurakani males embrace them--especially those whom are mis-labeled "at-risk" by this society..."
We will examine our book OBARIMA - Afurakani (African) Manhood. Download the free e-book version below:

In his own words:
I am currently finalizing the book. I also speak on the issue of the effect of sexual abuse and ography on boys as they grow into manhood.
The issue of the sexual abuse of women is a topic that has managed to come mainstream and is being addressed, but the issue of the sexual abuse of men, particularly by women is something that is still a taboo or is met with ridicule.
I want to help give voice to the millions of silent men, to help them with a vocabulary to discuss the issues they face
Then I stepped forward from the rest and said, "Lord, if, as thou hast taught us, the woman is the highest form of humanity, and the last to be assumed, how comes it that thou, the Christ, art still in the lower form of man? Why comest thou not to lead the perfect life, and to save the world as woman? For surely, thou hast attained to womanhood." And Jesus answered, "I have attained to womanhood, as thou sayest; and already have I taken the form of woman. But there are three conditions under which the soul returns to the man's form; and they are these:
"1st. When the work which the Spirit proposes to accomplish is of a nature unsuitable to the female form.
"2nd. When the Spirit has failed to acquire, in the degree necessary to perfection, certain special attributes of the male character.
"3rd. When the Spirit has transgressed, and gone back in the path of perfection, by degrading the womanhood it had attained.
"In the first of these cases the return to the male form is outward and superficial only. This is my case. I am a woman in all save the body...Therefore am I--a woman--clothed in a man's body that I may be enabled to do the work set before me.
"The second case is that of a soul who, having been a woman perhaps many times, has acquired more aptly and readily the higher qualities of womanhood than the lower qualities of manhood...
"The third case is that of the backslider, who having nearly attained perfection,--perhaps even touched it,--degrades and soils his white robe, and is put back into the lower form again. These are the common cases; for there are few women who are worthy to be women."
Who did it to you? That is the question of the centry and now must come the answer.

Nobody will ever change the condition of a people until they change within themselves. Family the burden is on us to change our behavior; to build love, trust and confidence in each other and in our people for us, then, 95% of our problems will be solved. We, as leaders must declare that we will never sell out the aspirations of our people for personal wealth, position and advancement in the society of our former slave masters and their children. We must make a covenant with our people to work and sacrifice and be willing to be the good shepherd (leaders) who will lay down our lives for our people. Let us accept our responsibility and change our behavior to that, which will make us more than comrades and brothers and Sisters, but a behavior that will make us friends and companions in the struggle for the total freedom of our people here and wherever we are found on this earth.
Our word must be our bond. When we break our word we destroy the life of this covenant or the agreement that we have made. It is absolutely necessary that as leaders we must build trust among ourselves. We can only build trust when we strive to keep our word, particularly a solemn agreement or covenant that we make with each other and with our people. I PLEDGE that from this day forward I will keep this covenant. I pledge that I will work to accomplish our mission to make our vision a reality so help me God.
