The Thomas Loop Radio Show broadcast leads off with Clint Malarchuck - supporting his book - A Matter of Inches - the former NHL Goaltender tells an incredbible story. The book can be found at www.triumphbooks.com
Jay Moynihan is live in studio - His bio reads here from JaySax.com - I was asked to play with the Legendary Blues, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and 6 time Grammy award winner, Buddy Guy. That was the time of my life (1999-2006). We played every state in America and 20+ countries, in just the first two years. My passport had more stamps than a stamp collection. While playing with Mr. Guy, I also got a chance to be on national television a have dozen times (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 3 times, Craig Ferguson Show twice, Jimmie Kimmel Show and The Jools Holland Show in the UK with REM and Yoko Ono). I also got to play with some of my all time idols while with Mr.Guy......Carlos Santana, Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews, Robert Plant, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan, John Mayer, Johnny Lang, Zac Wylde, Jools Holland, Cheryl Crow, Robert Cray, Dr.John, Van Morrison, Little Milton, Kid Rock, Ike Turner, Actor Richard Gere , Lou Ann Barton, Kim Wilson, and many others you'll just have to ask me about. I'm also on many different boot-leg recordings (video & Audio) with Mr.guy, so let me know what YOU find out there.
Bill Kennedy is the lead role in Frankenstein's Patchwork Monster. I'll be playing the audio trailer for the movie, which premiers 2/14/2015.
Christopher Joel will be "In" The Thomas Loop Radio Show on WJJL-1440AM Niagara Falls/Buffalo, NY - a podcast will soon follow the live broadcast at around 1pm on 11/26 - on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thomaslooptm-
Here is Chris's bio from his home page at www.christopherjoel.net - I've been performing throughout Western New York for over 3-1/2 years with solo and various musical projects. Aside from my solo acoustic shows, I currently perform with my acoustic duo 'THE CT SCAN' (Check out The CT Scan section here on my website) as well as playing drums in a new project called "007".
With my acoustic shows, I stay true to my motto "acoustic music...the way it's meant to be heard". You won't hear any extra music or noises unless it's me making them. In a recent video from one of my performances (in the multimedia section) you will hear someone say "Now that's a one man band". You also won't see a laptop or a music stand in front of me looking down at them; I learn words and music. As an entertainer, I always give 110% at every performance. I thrive on audience participation/interaction and they are the reason I get to do what I love doing.
Come to a show and you'll see...seeing is believing...
The broadcast of The Thomas Loop Radio Show for December 10th, 2014 - Jamie Holka, Chris Stoianoff & JoAnn Simon were guests on the show.
Jamie Holka's website can be found here, at - http://jamieholka13.wordpress.com/ -
Jamie Holka is a solo finger-style guitarist from Niagara Falls NY. His style incorporates many layers to assimilate bass, drums, chords and melody. Switching between a Gibson L-5 and a Maton Michael Fix model, he’s able to create quite a diverse sound.
Jamie studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and continued the study of jazz guitar long after his Berklee days. However, jazz is only a foundation for his multi-layered arrangements.
