The armies are already in place. Our federal government estimates that 500,000 young men, predominantly black and Hispanic, are members of street gangs. These fellows have guns, money and a highly-organized hierarchy, because, the leadership of gangs is decided by cunning, street-smart business acumen (the drug trade), and a merciless willingness to eliminate rivals for power. The leadership of street gangs is Darwinian, while the leadership of our police and military agencies has to do more with whose ass you kiss than whose as you kick. Given equal armament, the street gangs are potentially better warriors.

    PHENOMENAL WOMAN by Maya Angelou...

The hand that rocks the cradle rules the World!

PHENOMENAL WOMAN by Maya Angelou...Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.  I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size.  I'm a WOMAN PHENOMENALLY-THAT'S ME.

I walk into a room just as cool as you please and to a man the fellows stand or fall down on their knees.  I'm a WOMAN, PHENOMENALLY.

Men themselves have wondered what they see in me, they try so hard but can't touch my inner mystery.

It's in the arch of my back, the sun in my smile, the ride of my breats, the grace of my style.

Understand it's in the click of my heels, the bend in my hair, cause I'm a WOMAN, PHENOMENALLY.

    I'm not telling lies...etc.

It's in the reach of my...etc.

    Men swarm around me...etc.

    A hive of honey bees...etc.

    When you see me...etc.

A commenter on a local television station news website wrote, “All I keep thinking about is how excited he was to see his dad. "Oh cool, there's my dad!" when he was getting off the bus; Fifteen-to-thirty minutes later Dad is seen down by the river. Waits two more hours to call the police to report him missing. Now he keeps changing his story. At the very worse, he did something horrible to this child. The very best he is hindering the investigation to find him. This is just a tragic situation.”

In this episode, we give details and background on the program and our take on why the state of North Carolina should continue to support the program.
