AMC's hit zombie drama returns this Sunday with the FIRST half of season FIVE.
Brian Lowry of Variety gave the fifth season premiere a positive review, saying "After the (rather too) long and winding road to Terminus, “The Walking Dead” opens its fifth season in spectacular fashion, a dazzling adrenaline rush filled with suspense, righteous violence and, before it’s all over, genuine emotion. Imbued with cinematic touches, the only downside to this breathtaking episode is pondering what the creative brain trust can do for an encore. Still, AMC’s megahit finds itself in a very good place, from the current makeup of its ever-evolving cast to the latitude it has earned to take unexpected detours. Given the hype surrounding the series, it’s still impressive to see the producers deliver such a feast."
Join Casey Shapiro and Marc B. Lee's party as they RETURN to view The Walking Dead on AMC!
We'll host our weekly Viewing Party as well as one in our chat room during the show.
Join us as we raised questions surrounding Ferguson Missouri grand jury decision in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
What is there to gain from a violent reaction and response to the grand jury’s verdict?
If the Grand jury decides that officer Darren Wilson should not be criminally charge in the shooting death of Mike Brown, what would be an appropriate response by concerned citizens?
“It’s possible that Darren Wilson will also be arrested and go to trial. But even if he’s convicted—even if the Brown family finds a measure of procedural justice—we will still be left with an unequal, segregated Ferguson in an unequal, segregated St. Louis County. The underlying problems of white flight, discrimination, and disinvestment will remain, and—absent a dramatic and unexpected change—they’ll persist into the next generation. We may never see another “Trayvon Martin” in Sanford, Florida, but I’m positive we’ll see another “Michael Brown
” in Ferguson son, Missouri”.

She has investigated different ways of teaching, counseling and healing since 1973. In 1994, working on some past life investigations proved to be a catalyst for her own abilities. Without formal instruction of any kind, She found herself able to do hands-on healing work, distance energy work over the phone, and act as a liaison between discarnate entities and those of us currently in body. Corbie has proved to be a doorway Home for souls caught in the Grey Space—those who have died, but for one reason or another cannot get to the Light. And Corbie has found she had a talent for channeling souls.
What Corbie does now is a combination of those unexpected gifts and the more accessible tools I’ve found useful over the years. She continue to hone my skills; my certifications are testimony to the ongoing work. Her goal is to continue living the “examined life,” not only learning more technique, but also going within herself to eradicate fears, bias, judgment, ego—anything which can get in the way of unconditional love and compassion.

Segment 1 of today's show will consider whether, consistent with the First Amendment and Virginia v. Black, conviction of threatening another person under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c) requires proof of the defendant's subjective intent to threaten, as required by the Ninth Circuit and the supreme courts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont; or whether it is enough to show that a “reasonable person” would regard the statement as threatening, as held by other federal courts of appeals and state courts of last resort; and (2) whether, as a matter of statutory interpretation, conviction of threatening another person under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c) requires proof of the defendant's subjective intent to threaten.
Segment 2 of today's show will look at the preliminary declaration of a state of emergency declared in Ferguson, Missouri at the wait of the grand jury's indictment. For several months peaceful protestors have had their First Amendment right trampled over due to the harsh criticism of local, state and federal government.
Segment 3 of today's show will focus on the intersection of the First Amendment
freedom of speech rights and the government’s ability to regulate, and in some situations ban
lawyer advertising. Restrictions are typically enforced through the individual state agencies,
commonly referred to as the State Bar.
Segment 4 of today's show will determine if some tactics protected under the First Amendment are acts of voter intimidation or exercise of free speech.
