Host Wanda Wiedman discusses the blowout 33-13 Oakland Raiders loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and the debut of rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper with NFLFemale Official Fan Reporter Teverly Lazenby,
Raiders still building a team with new head coach Jack Del Rio. Quarterback Derek Carr and Amari Cooper need to continue to develop chemestry between quarterback and receiver. Cooper was underutilized by offensive coordinator Musgrave who stayed away from the long throws that Cooper could handle.
Loss of both safeties Nate Allen and Charles Woodson will put pressure on front defense to attempt much-needed pass rush in order to rattle opposing quarterbacks. Aldon Smith and Khalil Mack will have to pick up the slack.
Former Bears quaterback Erik Kramer's suicide attempt is the latest in a long, sad line of NFL players dealing with post-career depression stemming from recurring head trauma. While Roger Goodell and the NFL are keeping themselves busy with Tomy Brady and the Deflategate scandal, the real problem of retired players dealing with the effects of CTE continues to slip through the cracks (or purposefully ignored).
The Bears had two joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts this week prior to their preseason game on Saturday. Jay Cutler wishes his top receivers were there and gave credit to the Colts for "winning the day" on Wednesday. Meanwhile on defense, Adrian Amos will start at free safety Saturday, having leapfrogged 2nd year player Brock Vereen on the team's depth chart. Will Amos win the starting job, and what's the deal with the Bears starting so many rookie safeties?
The Cubs begin a 4 game series against the Atlanta Braves tonight at Wrigley. After getting dominated by Chris Sale in their final game on the south side, the Cubs losing streak is at 3 with two losses courtesy of the Detroit Tigers. Jason Hammel and Jon Lester both had terrible games and were pulled early. How worried should Cubs fans be about the team's starting pitcher rotation coming into the home stretch of the wild card race?
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will conclude, the two part grading series, on the 2014 Green Bay Packers. If you missed part 1, make sure you listen to the February 5th episode. Tonight, the safties, special teams, and coaching staff will receive their grade.
The Packers safties did not record an interception, in 2013. This unit needed to be upgraded. With their first pick, the Packers selected Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Micah Hyde split time at safety, and cornerback, and veteran Morgan Burnett tried to respond, after a horrid 2013 season. Mason Crosby has been a mainstay at kicker, and currently ranks second on the Packers all-time scoring list. Tim Masthay had games where he did not have to attempt a punt. There were times when the coaching staff called great games, and then times, when you scratched your head. How would you grade these units? Listen in and call the show, with your thoughts!
" Open to the love that may be burning you and refining you from the inside out and actively join in the transformation. It is a fire of grace and it has the expressive potential for extreme love upon you "when" your "vessel" becomes able to safely hold its expression.
To build a temple will sometimes require a flame of transformation. We are given opportunities to burn away that which is as an impediment to our temple being purified.
Kundalini is as a blacksmith fire.
A forge and crucible of divine flame that aids in the transformation of our soul.
Your body is an aspect of your soul.
The intelligence behind this transformation is of Grace." - Chrism
In this week's draft podcast, Doug Farrar of Sports Illustrated and Greg Cosell of NFL Films and ESPN's NFL Matchup discuss the best and most intriguing cornerbacks and safeties in this draft class. We also discuss the differences and difficulties collegiate defensive backs will face as they transition to the NFL.
" The Sacred Male and Sacred Female joined create the Sacred Child.
These are the Two that are One and the One that is Two.
We are the Sacred Children when the divine circuit is formed and the Kundalini begins its flows in and around the body.
We are the fruit of the divine womb.
As the Kundalini changes us from within so are we introduced to the new and different thoughts, feelings, skills, and wisdoms that are part of an agenda that reaches far beyond the mere physical expression. " - Chrism.
"Evolution can be sudden. I will suggest that Kundalini can speed up the evolutionary process for an individual greatly. I will also suggest that we do not know what the divine blue print has in store for us as we transform due to the Kundalini. We cannot predict this or forecast it. Yet it is there and we are evolving within these forces as they apply to us and within the structures of grace that support our own unique evolution." - Chrism
" A person inside the experience will not typically control the energy.
It will control the person for a time until a point is reached where the infusion has completed its first cycle.
After that the blending is much more serene and though the phenomena are still apparent the balances have become more expressed.
This grows (depending on the person) more and more balanced as complete surrender to the "agenda" of the Kundalini is attained." - Chrism
Tonight’s guest will be Wayne Walent, a native of Ohio, now in Siskiyou County, California. He is a gold miner, a professional mushroom harvester, and a long-time defender of liberty.
Mr. Walent was there at Bundy Ranch, and when asked, “How close was it to bloodshed?” He will respond “Seconds, as you could hear the gun safeties clicking off on both sides.” Mr. Walent will discuss a new potential Bundy Ranch situation arising in Southern Oregon. The BLM is in the process of revoking claims, and seizing mining equipment. The miners there are more unified, and organized than the Bundy Ranch. There have been seen federal swat vehicles, and other feds moving into the area. And patriots moving in support of the miners.
