    ESSENTIALS OF UNDERSTANDING MASONIC ADJUSTMENTS

    in Lifestyle

Have we actually had a fall from grace? If we have it has left freemasonry not as icon but relic. We have let the mirror of time hide an enriched philosophical environment behind a dusty mantle. If we read the opinions of freemasonry over the centuries we quickly realize this observation is not new.  By 1740, the idea of being a doppelganger of the Royal Society had already fallen out of favour. It is difficult to imagine that idea has such gravitas that the drift away from the appeal of thoughtful, meaningful discussion has taken us three hundred years down the road before this period of market adjustment is forcing us to rethink what this means to our future.

We are way past the problems of being thin skinned and muscular in our defence of the status quo. The ice is already cracking under foot but somethings need to be said about changing the narrative and making adjustments inclusive of our fraternal principles.

We loose ground everytime buffoonery goes unchallenged.  Here in Canada we are known for our good manners and friendliness. We are tolerant, quiet managers of change. These are the traits needed most to help our fraternity and our Grand Lodges. Many of the sources we drew upon to replenish the Order are gone.  Migration from country to city has accelerated. Economics require most young couples to both work. Retirement savings are being wiped out by global banking trends. Women are equals in form  but are paid substandard wage. Owning a house is a dream many couples will never achieve. Marriage is not expected. Divorce is. We are living longer, and becoming dependent on others. Canada has grown into a multicultural country, where we want new-comers to learn our languages and accept the culture of Canada.  The good life still requires sacrifice and effort.

It is about preserving three essential ideas. We cannot live as yesterday and we can adjust. We must.

Deepertruth: The Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Weingarten, Germany 1055

    in Religion

For more than 900 years it has been possible to venerate the relic of a portion of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus at the Benedictine Monastery at Weingarten. According to many historians, the soldier Longinus had carried the relic of the Most Precious Blood of Christ to Mantua.

This Eucharistic Miracle literally is taken from the foot of the cross. Saint Matthew the Evangelist, in describing the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ, says: “The centurion and the men with him who were keeping watch over Jesus feared greatly when they saw the earthquake and all that was happening, and they said, ‘Truly this was the Son of God!’” (Matthew 27:54).

St. Longinus was the Roman soldier who pierced the side of the Crucified Savior with a spear. He was the chief of the soldiers who were present at the Crucifixion of the Lord on Golgotha.

John Carver Show - How to Make Stress Your FRIEND!

    in Self Help

I found this talk on stress on YouTube.  Amazing stuff!

Kelly McGonigal is a health psychologist who is known for her work in the field of 'science help'—popular explication of scientific research—as it relates to achieving personal goals despite inner conflict.

Stanford University psychologist Kelly McGonigal is a leader in the growing field of “science-help.” Through books, articles, courses and workshops, McGonigal works to help us understand and implement the latest scientific findings in psychology, neuroscience and medicine.

Straddling the worlds of research and practice, McGonigal holds positions in both the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the School of Medicine. Her most recent book, The Willpower Instinct, explores the latest research on motivation, temptation and procrastination, as well as what it takes to transform habits, persevere at challenges and make a successful change.

She is now researching a new book about the "upside of stress," which will look at both why stress is good for us, and what makes us good at stress. In her words: "The old understanding of stress as a unhelpful relic of our animal instincts is being replaced by the understanding that stress actually makes us socially smart -- it's what allows us to be fully human."

Deepertruth: Eucharistic Miracle of Ludbreg Croatia 1411

    in Religion

In 1411 at Ludbreg, in the chapel of the Count Batthyany’s castle, a priest was celebrating Mass. During the consecration of the wine, the priest doubted the truth of transubstantiation, and the wine in the chalice turned into Blood. Not knowing what to do, the priest embedded this relic in the wall behind the main altar. The workman who did the job was sworn to silence. The priest also kept it secret and revealed it only at the time of his death. After the priest’s revelation, news quickly spread and people started coming on pilgrimage to Ludbreg.

The Holy See later had the relic of the miracle brought to Rome, where it remained for several years. The people of Ludbreg and the surrounding area, however, continued to make pilgrimages to the castle chapel.

In the early 1500s, during the pontificate of Pope Julius II, a commission was convened in Ludbreg to investigate the facts connected with the Eucharistic miracle. Many people testified that they had received marvelous cures while praying in the relic’s presence. On April 14, 1513, Pope Leo X published a Bull permitting veneration of the holy relic which he himself had carried in procession several times through the streets of Rome. The relic was later returned toCroatia.

In the 18th century, northern Croatia was ravaged by the plague. The people turned to God to call upon His help, and the Croatian Parliament did the same. During the session held on December 15, 1739 in the city of Varazdin, they vowed to build a chapel at Ludbreg in honor of the miracle if the plague ended. The plague was averted, but the promised vow was only fulfilled in 1994, when democracy was restored in Croatia.

Medieval Upheaval, A Catalogue of Bloody European Evils

    in Culture

Europeans are some of the most violent people that ever walked the planet. During their immediate past, torture was widespread. Mob violence, typical. Whole towns burned to the ground. Rule breakers were hanged, their bodies suspended from trees as vivid reminders of the type of punishment awaiting insubordinate persons. Once men, women and children were hanged, relic seekers collected their fingers, toes and hairs for medicines and as trophies. Birds picked over whatever remained of these poor souls whose vertical resting place offered no peace. Approaching passersby turned their heads away to keep from seeing human flesh decaying and wasting away.

In more recent times, Europe’s children - the so-called white Americans - burned black towns to the ground, murdering innocent black residents. Coolly, they tortured and then dangled lifeless black bodies from trees, carrying away penises and fingers as trophies. Currently, we witness the blood of black children, women and men puddling rural and city streets of America. It’s not surprising that Europe’s children repeat the cruel blood rituals of their parents. What’s surprising is that so few of us have connected the dots.

If we are casual readers of history, we probably don’t know how psychotic Europe’s story is. And we don’t realize just how many medieval European laws and customs are practiced today. We can’t connect the dots from the past to the present.  In fact, we don’t know that the past lurks within the present.

The Squad & Sheshet Kemet discuss Medieval Upheaval, A Catalogue of Bloody European Evils.

However much white lies are used to harm black people, their truth will set us free. Let’s go in. Sunday, October 25. 1030p. Black African Power.
