The show is all about talking sports. The starting gate will once again be full with 20 horses for the 142nd Kentucky Derby.
Most of the 3-year-olds will be running 1¼ miles for the first time on May 7, leaving it up for grabs to see which handles the distance, track surface and traffic-choked conditions the best.
Here are five horses to watch:
'There are murders and there are murders. There are bodies and there are bodies, and then there's what lies waiting behind the front door of the little brick house with its blinds drawn and air conditioner droning on, working against the oppressive Hunter Valley heat. A glimpse into the dark, cockroach corners of the soul. A lot of the blokes at the scene that day will never be the same.'
On 29 February 2000, Katherine Knight committed an unspeakable act. A mother of four and a grandmother, she seduced and then stabbed John Price 37 times. A former abattoir worker, she skinned him. A loving partner, she cooked him with vegetables, making a soup with his head. Made gravy. Left him on plates for his family. Why? Pricey was her de facto and he wanted out. She didn't like that.
People said that most of the time Katherine Knight seemed normal . until she got angry. She was judged to be legally sane when she committed a crime so horrible that the media shied away from the detail.
Journalist Peter Lalor covered the trial and wanted to know what made Knight go way over the borderline. In this unflinching account he uncovers the layers of her dysfunction, opening the door of 84 St Andrews Street and taking us into the lives of Knight's ex-partners, her family and the locals of Aberdeen, NSW.
Katherine Knight is currently the only woman serving a life sentence in Australia. She is never to be released. BLOOD STAIN-The True Story of Katherine Knight, The Mother and Abattoir Worker Who Became Australia's Worst Female Killer-Peter Lalor
Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes scholar Tom Fox to discuss his first fiction thriller DOMINUS. Here is the story: The Vatican Cathedral is packed to the rafters as Pope Gregory XVII leads the congregation in mass. A cloaked stranger steps suddenly and fearlessly towards the altar and commands the wheelchair-bound Pope to stand. He does. The miracle, if that's what it is, stops the world in its tracks. Who is this stranger? More inexplicable events follow: blind children see for the first time, cancers are cured, and a popular young starlet killed in a surfing accident inexplicably regains consciousness. There is widespread awe at each new demonstration of healing, but the Vatican retreats from the public eye, closing its doors to the world. What the public doesn't see is that someone is threatening various Church officials-as well as the stranger the world is branding a miracle-worker. Skeptical investigative journalist Alexander Trecchio, seeking a source who could discredit the growing religious mania, instead discovers a gruesome killing. Soon Alexander and police officer Gabriella Fierro are working together to find the killer and get to the bottom of the mysterious events that have sent the world into a frenzy and the Catholic Church into retreat.

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes debut novelist Dave Pupa to the studio. Dave's debut novel is a psychological thriller (imagine Hannibal meets Seven). His background as a therapist has allowed him to create compelling and fully fleshed out characters with substance. A sequel is currently in the works. This may be the beginning of a series character around FBI profiler Frank Sorello. About the highly rated book: Hurricane Sandy ravages the Jersey Shore while simultaneously providing the backdrop for a horrible crime. A serial killer takes advantage of the night’s ferocity and inflicts his own damage. The madman then disappears leaving a famed F.B.I. agent broken in the process. Frank Sorello retires from the Bureau only to be drawn back into the game after a bestselling novel by a new author raises suspicions about details inside the book. Is the homicidal maniac announcing his return or is it purely a coincidence? The intrigue builds as a young man with an intellect rivaling that of Einstein and Da Vinci is tragically connected to the Bureau’s top agent. As the investigation is renewed, the murders begin once again. While the mystery unravels no one is truly safe; neither the gated communities of Hollywood nor the hallowed grounds of an Ivy League University provide refuge from what lies waiting in the shadows. The suspense mounts as the hunt gets ever more personal when the agent’s current romantic interest becomes a target. Sorello vows to put an end to the killer’s reign in this fast paced thriller . . . but the killer has other plans.

What does a spitfire television judge, winner of the game show, “The Weakest Link”, and daughter of a Vietnam Veteran have in common? Well, everything. Why..because they're the same person.
This week on, “Creating Life’s New Normal,” I interview actress, attorney and game show winner, Tremecca D. Doss. We explore how she creates her new normal through excellence, education, and fun.
Tremecca can be seen on television serving as a legal analyst on TV One Network’s, “Fatal Attraction”, Discovery ID’s “Deadly Women”, and Oxygen Network’s “Snapped: Killer Couples.”
Tremecca is an avid sports fan and couples her passion for law by being a legal commentator on issues arising in the (NFL). She also worked as a production coordinator and reporter with the NFL/Tennessee Titans Radio Network during the Titans’ 1999-2000 Super Bowl season.
However, I think the most profound substance of this amazing woman is her respect for the men and women who serve the United States as part of the Armed Forces. It was her father, Larry Doss, a Vietnam Veteran who lost his ability to walk, who inspires her the most. Seeing his dogged determination to fight for disability rights rubbed off on Tremecca. It is this bond of military service that led our connection and eventually to this interview.
Tune in from 9am - 10am EST to listen to this amazing young lady.

Lin-Manuel Miranda takes the stage as the unlikely founding father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington's right hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy. George Washington, Eliza Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton's lifelong friend/foil Aaron Burr all make their mark in this astonishing new musical exploration of a political mastermind.
