Each week on the radio listeners can test ther knowledge against some of the best and brightest in the news and entertainment world while figuring out what's real news and what's made up. In October 2007, Harper Collins published Peter's first book, The Book of Vice: Naughty Things and How to Do Them, a series of essays about bad behavior, which was released in paperback in 2008. Does the Constitution have what it takes to keep up with modern America? Join Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! as he hits the road to find out. Traveling across the country by motorcycle, Sagal is in search of where the U.S. Constitution lives, how it works and how it doesn’t… how it unites us as a nation and how it has nearly torn us apart.

Snoop Dogg has a long history of calling Black Women hoes and bitches. We have had Black Women Activist speak up on this very issue, yet was labeled as an angry Black Women. Recently Snoop Dog apologized to Rapper Iggy for calling her a bitch, yet couldn't find it in his heart to apologize to every black women he disrespected in his rap songs. The world was devastated that Iggy was called a bitch. Did she deserve to be called a bitch? Is Snoop Dogg wrong for what he said about Iggy? Two years ago a friend of mine asked me to say some emcee rhymes
So I said this rhyme I’m about to say, the rhyme was def and it went this way:
Took a test to become an emcee, and Orange Krush became amazed at me
So Larry put me inside his Cadillac, the chauffeur drove off and we never came back
Dave cut the record down to the bone, and now they got me rockin on the microphone…”
“You’re a five dollar boy and I’m a million dollar man
You’re a sucker emcee and you’re my fan
You try to bite rhymes, all lines are mine, you’re a sucker emcee in a pair of Calvin Kleins
Coming from the wackest part of town, trying to rap but you can’t get down
You don’t even know your English, your verbs or noun
You’re just a sucker emcee, you sad faced clown
I found an article on the Net recently that discussed a woman who made the statement that she should have aborted her mentally disabled son because of the lifetime of care she's had to provide for him. Within her statements, there was a sense of heartache, resignation, frustration, and anger in her words. There is no question she loved her son -- she made sure to let the reader know she did. But if she could do it all over again, she would have terminated her disabled son at birth to 'spare' him from his life and she and her husband the agony of caring for him.
Reading the article struck several chords in me. For one thing, I noticed the sheer audacity for a mother to admit her life would have been better without her disabled son. The boldness of her statement rocked within me. It seems our culture has become rather audacious in some of our pronouncements. This led me to think about our Lord and the audacity He displays to us.
Join me as I talk about the audacity of God. You can call in at 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air. Or, you can download the WLUV Radio mobile app. Any way you can, join us.
