Anna and the Angels with guest Betsy Otter Thompson

    in Spirituality

This week we are welcoming back author, Betsy Otter Thompson to the show to talk about her book LOVEHUMAN and some of the profound questions she writes about, such as: Is peace possible, where does imagination come from and how can we find more love? It's sure to be very interesting show!

A Philadelphia native with a B.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Betsy worked as an account executive for several Philadelphia radio stations and as a commercial print model, appearing in television commercials in Philadelphia and New York. After moving to California, Betsy struggled and nearly became homeless. After she recognized her tendency to blame everyone else for her problems and decided to become accountable, she began to recover. For the next eighteen years, Betsy worked as an Executive Assistant to an entertainment executive in the film industry. She retired in 2005 and is now writing full time.

Betsy has a passion for communicating spiritual concepts. Her lessons have been about understanding how she faces herself wherever she goes. Betsy finally realized that each job and each person was an opportunity to know herself better, not an opportunity to blame others for her problems.

In addition to LOVEHUMAN, Betsy is the author of The WHAT HAPPENS IF I…Book –WALKING THROUGH ILLUSION, THE MIRROR THEORY, LOVEPARENT, LOVEHUMAN and, YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK

    in Travel

    Hello,

Welcome to A Theory of Parenting on Blogtalkradio.com

    My name is Tammi Joyner

I am your Host for the Show

Today we are live from 825 8th ave between 49th and  West 50th Street, Two Worldwide Plaza is a post-war skyscraper.  The 39-floor building in Midtown West was completed by William Zeckendorf Jr. in 1989. Today, it is part of a three-building design that stretches an entire block between 8th and 9th Avenue from 49th to 50th Street.

The building's postmodern exterior is perhaps one of the most remarkable building features. The old-fashioned brick is modernized by a copper roof and glass pyramid at the top. At certain times of the day, the sun hits the sleek rows of windows to the point that the facade shines like metal. Terraces abound in the majority of the 455 apartments, each equipped with granite countertops in modern kitchens, marble baths, and 11-foot ceilings.

The interior garden courtyard reserved for residents is matched with the mid-block public plaza housing a diverse array of greenery as well a fountain with elaborate statues, and a nearby cafe.

Controlled Remote Viewing-Interview with Lyn Buchanan

    in Women

Teresa hosts an informal discussion with Lyn Buchanan about types of remote viewing.

Topic: Teresa discusses CRV Project Management and what a professional CRV customer report looks like. Teresa Frisch is a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience in healthcare and currently work in an Emergency Department in Southwest Ohio. Eventually I began studying nursing intuition and nursing theory after increasingly frequent personal nonlocal time / space events. A two hour remote viewing class at the Universal Life Expo in Columbus, Ohio in 2004 became a life-changing, defining moment. I nailed the target. I described a picture in an envelope with no idea of what it was until after I turned in my session. Remote viewing was not a random, déjà vu event. It produced results, and those results were, in fact, data. The intuitive, subconscious mind can accurately describe and report sensory information such as smells, sounds, tastes, colors, sizes, and shapes. I began studying CRV with Lyn Buchanan, former member of the U.S. Military Intelligence Unit STAR GATE in 2005. There was no looking back. As a CRV Analyst I am trained to separate data from the remote viewing session transcript for proper analysis. My CRV projects include archeology, chemical research, business decision-making and law enforcement consultation. As a CRV Instructor, I introduce the highly structured and carefully controlled methodology step by step, guiding the student through actual CRV sessions, gathering sensory data from real-world sites around the globe.

Human Early Stages of Development From Hominids to Homo Sapiens

    in Religion

National Geographic world history textbook states; Although modern science has given more precise methods for examing the prehistory of humankind than we have ever had before, much of our understanding of early humans still depends on guesswork. (in prehistory people live  and die without record made of their lives). The rate of new discoveries of the current theory of early human life might be changed in a few years. Tim Aldred said we only have history as real source to enlighten us about the early human ancestors, because none of them live to see our day. Our observation of history must be done  with intellectual skills and sound judgment. History says that we came from Hominids to Homo Sapiens. The earliest humanlike creatures lived in Africa; as long as three to four millions  years ago (who denies that?)  Called Australopithecines, or otherwise called "southern apes."The discoverer is Donald Johanson, his research shows they flourished in eastern  and southern Africa. The were the first hominids (humans and other creatures that walk upright) to make simple stone stools.

CUTV News Radio spotlights Schelli Whitehouse and Lisa Murrell of Equine Alchemy

    in Self Help

Raleigh, NC – It’s been said there’s something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a person. Indeed, horses can serve as a mirror, reflecting our attitudes, intentions and emotions, teaching us truths about ourselves we may not have been previously aware of.

Schelli Whitehouse and Lisa Murrell are partners in coaching, leadership development and training through the way of the horse. Their company, Equine Alchemy, specializes in “turning human potential in gold” through a process of Equine Assisted Coaching and coach certification training.

“We want to empower as many people as we can in learning how to facilitate this work,” says Schelli. “Whether they use it in their coaching practice or not, when they go through the training they can’t but help but be infused with the wisdom of the horse.”

As people we’re often very conflicted; we think one way but behave in another. Horses, by contrast, perceive the world energetically and respond through intention. By inviting the horse into the coaching process, we can see if a person is in alignment simply by the horse’s behavior. When our behavior is aligned with our heart and feelings, the horse responds to that consistency and they’re more likely to follow our lead.

“I was a great coach but I don’t believe I became a masterful coach until after I began working with horses,” says Lisa. “They are the best teacher of coaching because you enter a different dimension with them. I’m never as balanced as when I am around horses.”

CUTV News Radio spotlights Sehaam Caselberg of SC Coaching & Consulting

    in Business

Winnetka, IL – Recent Gallup study figures estimate that 70 percent of the workforce is disengaged and only 1 in 10 people naturally know how to motivate their team. So what is the actual cost of a disengaged workforce?

Companies fold because of poor leadership, and each year, billions of dollars are wasted hiring the wrong people and not developing the right ones. That translates into missed opportunities, not seeing where an organization can be innovative and lean to remain ahead of its competition. The response has equally been shortsighted; businesses often implement new strategies that do not last and lose money hand over fist.

Sehaam Caselberg is the founder of SC Coaching and Consulting, where she specializes in organizational culture revitalization and transformation. As an expert in organizational development, Sehaam focuses on aligning the values of a company’s people with its overall strategy.

“Employees look to senior management to model the way,” explains Sehaam. “If we can’t align our decision making with our values, we’re compromising ourselves, we can’t make good decisions. We need to be able to identify with the culture of the organization. If I can’t do that and I’m leading other people, they can’t do it either.”

Sehaam works with senior leaders and their teams to establish a foundation and hold them accountable to the values they say are important to them.

“My role is to be a mirror and challenge them when I am observing behavior that doesn’t correspond to their values. Behavior shifts need to be embedded in an organization’s culture if they are to stick.”

    Ron Nawrocki - Wealth DNA

    in Real Estate

State of the Housing Market - The Wealth DNA radio show is dedicated to helping you increase your wealth, as well as educating savers & investors. During this show our returning guest Michael Orr will help educate us on a major asset class, which affects each of us whether we invest in residential real estate, we own a home, or we rent. I've said before that once housing prices start to rise rapidly, we can expect housing to be kicked out of the US CPI just like food & energy. Although as far as I know, we don't have a single listener who can avoid eating, consuming energy, and living somewhere !

It's been a full 3 years since we had Michael Orr on the show, and I forget that most listeners don't have regular access to the information he provides in the Cromford Report and as Director of the Real Estate Center Theory & Practice at the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU). So you may not know that his prediction on the housing market bottom, the rapid rise, and the plateau in prices starting late in 2013 happened just as he stated. I can assure you, he's not like one of the talking heads just sharing his opinion ... he bases his predictions on facts and trends. And no one has better data on housing than he does.

So has the resurgence of housing prices just begun? Are we in another bubble? And what are the indicators he suggests we use to navigate this important asset class? We'll cover these topics and many more, so prepare your questions for THE expert, grab a cup of coffee, tea, glass of wine, or your favorite beverage and join us for the State of the Housing Market ...
