Anguish - Lost Inside
Hosted by Craig Sicilia
Life is funny, we spend our whole lives building this person we think we know so well. Ourselves, then all of a sudden in a single instance it crumbles as we watch after a brain injury. Our friends and family hardly know us little alone have any desire to be around us shortly after. These experiences happen so quick in what seems to be a blink of an eye. We have no one in our lives, life seems to lose meaning. Soon we isolate and lose more of our ability to socialize in a typical world. Soon we ponder in being who we used to be and even give every ounce of energy and effort trying to be that person we remember.
Even though none of this perfect life we thought we had no longer exists, we find yourself alone, isolated inside of this vessel our body is no longer recognized by ourselves. And many may spend the rest of their lives in this state. How do we change this, how do we embrace and learn to live a life that we truly can love. One that we have not imagined yet. Join in tonight as we explore this...

Fall is here! How fitting that this week's show is about Seasons and Reasons. One thing that is for sure is that seasons change. Whether we change with them or not, they will move on without us. We can prepare as much as we like, but what happens when the season doesn't look the way that we hoped it would? What happens when all of your sowing appears that it hasn't paid off? What do you do?
We're going to through Ruth chapter 1:20-22 and look at how easy it can be to get Lost in Transition when seasons change if we're not careful or sensitive to God.
Get your pens, pads, and laptops ready!
Titus 3:5-5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

It is said that the things that we did to get our significant others and spouses are the same things we need to do to keep them. How many of us have stopped doing what we used to do? How have our relationships suffered as a result? What can we do to reclaim that lost passion? Call in to 646-716-7031 to listen in from your mobile device or click on the link on Facebook. We will tell you how to get your passion back! -- Michael and Amirah
On another Monday in Western New York, the Buffalo Bills faced a familiar foe, with a familiar result. The Bills, on the road in Houston, facing their former quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, lost 23-17. The Bills held a 10-7 lead going into halftime, and managed to only get 7 points in the second half. What will the Bills do now that they are 2-2, and the offense is struggling to move the ball down the field with some consistency. What changes will have to be made to ensure that the longest playoff drought in the NFL is stopped? The Hashtag Crew will fill you in.
SIN predates man and originates in Lucifer, aka, Satan, wanting to ascend into Heaven and sit on the Throne of God ruling all creation. The first sin was pride, which is the root of every other sin. The first human beings to commit a sin were Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, when they chose to follow the suggestion of Satan, in the form of a serpent, instead of being led by the holy and righteous word of God. Sin has continued throughout the ages, from one son of Adam and Eve, Cain, murdering their other son, his brother, Abel. to every murder, robbery, war, lie, abortion, act of hatred, envy, jealousy, blasphemy, abuse, sexual deviance, defiance to parents, neglect of innocent and unprotected children, to genocide, and so much more, which sadly, will be reported today, Monday, September 29, 2014.
Watch your 10 or 11:00 news this evening, for an update on all the tragic and gory details.
Sin, according to the Word of God, the Bible, will continue on this planet, called earth, even getting worse, in time, until that Day that Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire, along with the anti-christ, and every wicked person that ever lived; and Christ finally reigns in His perfect, holy and eternal new heaven and new earth.
We intend, on this broadcast, to look into sin, to see all that it entails, it's impact and its consequences.
Tonight we're talking about ISIL once again. What progress has been made to reclaim lost territory and what has been the effectiveness of the US led coalition bombing. And who is this new Khorasan terrorist group? Are they Al Qaeda? Was the growth of ISIL an intelligence failure or was the miscalculation the fault of the media for not vigorously reporting ISIL. We know the media is Obama window to the world.

About the Tour.
SISFI is hosting our Suicide Awareness and Prevention NY Tour on Sept. 17th - Oct 3rd across NYC, Long Island and Westchester to bring more awareness, services, programs and resources to address the increasing numbers of people facing serious life and emotional challenges, and human suffering with suicide ideations/thoughts, and supporting families who lost loved ones to suicide.
The theme of the tour is “Look into my heart and mind, tell me what you see”. It highlights the realities of not knowing what’s in a person’s mind or on their heart by what we see on the outside, and that we must engage in dialog and allow an open and comfortable atmosphere for people to open up and express themselves. The workshops and radio shows of the tour are scheduled at different times every day across the 3 cities.
We have aligned 15 community workshops, 3 luncheons and 15 radio shows to bring people, mental health professionals, energy therapists, health professionals, survivors and healers together to address this very serious and important topic affecting many people in our communities. While the community workshops are local in the 3 cities, the radio shows will have guests from across the country who lost loved ones, and practitioners who specializes in the support, treatment, recovery and healing of mental health, life coaching, emotional wellness and human suffering.
For full schedule of the tour check the website http://sisfi.org/suicidetours.html.

No matter the size of the baggage, we all have it and it will affect the way we are in new relationships. Dating and relationships can be frustrating and, often, downright painful. What single hasn't dreamt of a fairy dating coach swooping in to help her let go of baggage and find the happy, healthy relationship she craves?
Practice releasing regrets: When a relationship ends, it’s tempting to dwell on what you did wrong or what you could have done differently. This might seem productive—like you can somehow change things by rehashing it. You can’t. All dwelling does is cause you to suffer. When you start revisiting the past in your head, pull yourself into the moment. Focus on the good things in your current situation: the friends who are there for you and the lessons you’ve learned that will help you with future relationships.
Let yourself feel: Losing a relationship can feel like a mini-death, complete with a grieving process. First, you’re shocked and in denial. You don’t believe it’s over and you hold out hope. Next, you feel hurt and guilty. You should have done things differently. If you did you wouldn’t be in this pain. Then, you feel angry and maybe even start bargaining. It would be different if you gave it a second go. You wouldn’t be so insecure, defensive, or demanding. Then you might feel depressed and lonely as it hits you how much you’ve lost.
