Welcome to Happiness Index! Today, our focus will be on the role we play each moment each day to effect and ignite happiness. “I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked”. The following quote is taken from A course in Miracles. As we come to the realization of the source of our happiness, we can make changes. We can choose to be happy learners. We can make happiness our choice and we can choose love over fear, peace instead of conflict. We can choose to be responsible for every choice that we make. You are listening to Happiness Index and we continue to deepen our conversation on Hope & Service: A Path to Happiness. Vaclav Havel, former President of the Czech Rebubic said, Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out. We are convinced that everyone who gives of their time to serve others are deeply rooted in hope. Hope is an optimistic state of confidence and an anticipation of positive outcome that what you do make a difference. It is the cornerstone of volunteerism. Our focus today will be on the value of hope to inspire us to serve and how service is the fuel for happiness. Thank you for listening to Happiness Index on Blog Talk Radio. We found so many ways to be happy when what we think should happen happens. Yet what happens to us or for us is actually separate from our happiness. Happiness is a state of mind, a way of living, it is a true way of living in the moment. Love in Everyday is possbile no matter what we face, itis based in and from love in some way and in that, when we find the love of the day, our souls rest in that love and it changes everything. Life is filled with destabilizing forces and this can be seen in our newspaper headlines, and it continues down to health worries, family concerns, financial troubles, layoffs, spending a dime while earning a nickel, conflicts at work, family concerns, and the list goes on and on.
If we could face the truth we would admit we sometimes tend to doubt our current situation in life and get worried that our lives will never be the way we dreamt it will be.
For many of our young adults this is especially true.
They graduate form school, then the choice is either to join the working force or go to college
Nowhere here seems to be hiring and college is out of reach for many.
So really how do we survive this??
For me it all boils down to knowing who you are, and knowing your character strengths.
Without a center in your life, those pressures are bound to beat you to the ground.
Join me Janice Clarke, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant, Reiki Practitioner, and Host of THE SOULFUL HEALING TALK SHOW, to discuss what it takes to survive this crazy crazy world, and finding our center, and to figure out what our strengths are, and most importantly HOROING OUR STORIES THAT HAS SHAPED OUR LIVES AND STRENGTHENED OUR CHARACTERS….
Please call and share YOUR soulful healing stories which will send healing love and light all over the air waves!!!
OUR ME TIME WILL BE HEALING TIME THIS WEEK!!
