Beautiful classically trained dancer and newest star of ABC Family’s groundbreaking hit show “The Fosters” Caitlin Carver, is taking the entertainment world by storm with her outgoing personality, relentless work ethic and sparkling smile that is certain to be a fan favorite this season. Executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, the series follows the lives of the Foster family, consisting of an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children. Making her way onto the silver screen she’s appeared on "Glee,” ‘Southland,” “Nashville,” and VH1’s hit dance docu-drama “Hit The Floor,” as a regular cast member last season.

Andy Funk, Director and Executive Producer
Andy graduated from Towson State University in 1996 with a double major in Mass Communications and Communication Studies. He worked in a variety of areas from freight logistics and non-profit development to baseball tour guide and major event planning. In 2002, he left his full-time job to run the family business, a dance studio in Maryland that he and his wife started three years earlier. The entrepreneurial bug would not allow him to stop there and with the help of his wife and sister-in-law, they created Monsters of HipHop in 2003.
Monsters of Hip Hop (Est. 2003)
The mission is to bring hip hop dancers together with the industry's top dance professionals in a fun and challenging environment that fosters self-fulfillment and career development.
Monsters of HipHop was started by Andy and Becky Funk along with Becky's sister, Angie. Collectively, the three developed the unique concept for Monsters of HipHop based on Becky and Angie's background growing up dancing competitively and Andy's experience in business and marketing. They saw a need, took a chance and created a Monster! While Monsters has grown tremendously, the company always strives to maintain the family environment on which it was built.

Multicultural relationships, straight couples, gay couples, old couples, young couples, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jews -- too many of them feel trapped, lonely, and unable to connect with the person they're with for a variety of reasons that are personal to them.
So what's the answer? Divorce? Extramarital sex? Sneaking around? Suffering in silence? Meds? ?
Based on Lisa Haisha’s experience as a life coach & relationship expert, Heart-centered communication is the fundamental key to preventing adultery and divorce.
Lisa goal when she’s coaching couples is to help them gain perspective and insight into the underlying problems before proposing solutions. The idea is to fix the sicknessesof lack of communication and self-awareness, which ultimately mends the symptomsof adultery and dishonesty.
When people can be real with each other in a relationship, their connection to each other will be stronger, and Heart-centered communication fosters exactly that.
In this episode, Lisa and Brad will discuss Lisa’s therapeutic practice, SoulBlazing, how it relates to her methods behind Heart-centered Communication, and the personal and professional experiences that gave Lisa the tools to be the acclaimed healer she is today

Tonight's special guest is Ken Heard from London, Ontario, Canada, a child abuse survivor and activist who's now doing all he can to help other survivors find a path to healing. He's becoming a more and more involved volunteer member of the NAASCA family. Ken is associated with Emmaus Cares, a non profit that offers help and hope for adult survivors of trauma, neglect and abuse. Emmaus provides effective counseling to men and women who suffered neglect, trauma or abuse as children, fosters and supports local Child Abuse Prevention initiatives through the production of resources for parents and others in positions of trust and raises public awareness and understanding of the far reaching problems abuse creates not only for the survivors but for society as a whole. Their "Road to HOPE" program provides individuals an opportunity to become calm, happy and healthy, have good relationships and achieve their goals regardless of what has happened in the past. Emmaus also provides speakers, training and seminars for anyone wishing to learn more about how to support survivors of neglect, trauma or abuse and resources for parents and caregivers to better provide for the needs of children. We welcome Ken to our NAASCA family and look forward to his ongoing contribution to our cause.
Dr Linda Anderson, Chair, Clinical Psychologist, Professor and Consultant, Behavioral Health - CUNY/ Hostos Community College will be our guest. This is a very important topic at the intersection of economic development and education for a community. Hostos was a college built by demand and maintained by tenacity. On June 9th learn what true grit looks like up against statistics that remind you everyday what that the odds are you are building first generation dreams. Learn what it takes to educate beyond the test and the grade to the human heart and mind that refuses to not be liberated.
Bring what you believe education does for those seeking and aspiring. Let's test to see if that belief can stand up against the environment and community education fosters. Is education still a form of freedom? Discover if a liberated mind is the goal or the by product. We will share how one woman leads the educators and instructors while advocating for the students day in and day out while managing a diverse career and authoring articles as well as a book.

in Self Help
Constantly driven by the need to safeguard our survival we often find ourselves caught in a conflict with our situation, environment or our loved ones. Every day we deal with this conflict between isolation and acceptance. We endure arguments, fights, differences, separation, helplessness, abuse, exploitation and violence. These painful experiences are often not erased from our mind stream. They remain lodged in our psyche causing us to keep attracting more of the same.
Cultivating and practicing unconditional forgiveness can lead us to accepting life and people with all the arising contradictions, as a result of which we gain equanimity and lasting peace, ending the perpetual cycle of our suffering.
In todays show Paula and her partner Rashminder Kaur who are the creators of an eight module program: Karma Completion, Finish What You Started, will examine how to cultivate forgiveness toward others. They will also share a Buddhist Meditation called Loving Kindness followed by ‘Tonglen with Others’ which fosters forgiveness and allows us to shift our perspective by releasing past memories and embracing people and situations as they exist.
HOST: Paula Horan Ph.D. (LaxmiDechenWangmo), is an American psychologist who lives in Asia. A Reiki Master for twenty five years and an author of eight books on meditation, alternative health, and non-dual awareness. Her new book Fierce Innocence, which conveys the wisdom of her Jnana Yoga retreats in fostering a radiant self-confidence, is now available at amazon.com/author/paulahoran.
Think Business Radio is based on the notion that it is possible and necessary to create a social climate that supports business activity and minimizes unwanted government interference in all lives and at all levels. We believe that the current social climate is working against the individual, fosters dehumanizing business practices, and creates economic slaves. We believe that individuals making informed decisions will produce far better results than any elected aristocracy. We reject progressivism and secular humanism because they are means of diminishing and demeaning the common man. We are, therefore, unalterably opposed to slavery in all its forms.
