Tonight's special guest is Elizabeth Cucinotta Sorvillo, an attorney, author, mother, and advocate for children, child sex abuse survivors and animals. Elizabeth is the author of "Controlled Burn: Exposing Child Sex Abuse and Corruption at America's Largest Private Catholic High School," a detailed account of how two women, sexually harassed by their teachers at the same Franciscan educational institution twenty years apart, came together to expose the hypocrisy and systematic corruption that shielded decades of child sexual abuse and abusers from the public. Elizabeth has been named to the list of Catholic clergy abuse whistleblowers by BishopAccountability.org and consulted for the top school sexual abuse attorneys in the United States. She has provided critical information to private investigators, and several state departments of education and Catholic dioceses. She is currently consulting on several school related sexual assault and harassment cases, as well as working on investigations regarding multi-state corporate scams. Elizabeth has over twelve years of experience in the media and has been interviewed in The New York Times, The Journal News, New York Daily News, The Times of Israel, and The Nonprofit Quarterly. Too often we pick up the habits of the culture around us instead of transforming that culture into the kingdom culture. I hear the children of God jumping on the bandwagon of modern society and declaring, "the struggle is real" in reference to the day to day living in lack and insufficiency. But for the child of God who is kingdom-minded, lack is not your portion It is time to begin declaring a new mantra, "The Struggle Is Over." Tune in to Waves of Glory with Apostle EJ Melvin to hear what God has to say about the "struggle."
This episode is going to be jaw-dropping and explosive.
It takes a strong person to admit they're wrong; especially when their actions ruined lives. Singer, songwriter and minister William Buckhalter has had his share of ups and downs. But, what is unbeknownst to many is his lengthy battle with depression, darkness and denial about who is was. That mindset resulted in him doing the unmentionable and creating a whirlwind of chaos within the black church community.
Now in a better place mentally and spiritually he wants to share why he publicly outed closeted gay clergy, separated from the traditional church system, and led a double-life filled with moments of regret. Most important he wants to apologize to those he hurt.
Join me as I dig deep into all things leading to his shocking disclosures and what occurred in the aftermath of is revelations.

Our children are gifts to us, Let's thank God for the gift that he has blessed us with. Mothers are nurturers, they are parents, partners, friends, teachers, they are givers. They are providers. A mother's responsibility begins at conceptions she has to mainain her health so that she can give birth to a healthy child and once the child gets here whether she breast feed or use the formula, she has to know that the child is feed, bathed, provided for and protected. Being a mother is a great responsibility. That is why it is so important to have God in our lives as mothers because it is hard to take on these responsibilites alone. Now, especially when you are single you will need God to be a husband for you. God says, in his word (Phil 4:19) that he will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. Let God be your provider. He says in his word he will never leave you nor forsake you. God will show you how to be a mother, we don't come her knowing how to mother, especally when you are a teen mother, you are so young that you don't have the experience. You will have to be taught, by mentors, books, etc, or sometime by trail and error, but more than anything you will know how to be a good mother through prayer and love for your child. Gain a relationship with your heavenly father through prayer, he will teach you how to love and care for your child. Seek God First. As in Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to us. A mother is like God in the physical sense of the word, she is his hands, feet, mouth piece and more, that is why is is so important to celebrate mother's day, a day set aside just for her. She deserves it. Once a mother, always a mother.
