My dogs are missing after my home was burglarized in the West End of Hartford. Please help find them-They are my whole world Call 973-865-4004973-865-4004 with tips... Please help! My home in the West End of Hartford was burglarized on February 27th, 2014, while I was at work. My dogs were lost in the process and I don't know if they were taken or ran away. Please help spread the word. You can reach me at 973-865-4004973-865-4004 with information. Their names are Burton and Zuzu and they are very friendly. They have collars on and are micro-chipped. Please share widely--they are my whole world. Thank you for all your help!...
Thank you for all your generosity in helping to find my beloved Burton and Zuzu, who went missing after my home was broken into on February 27, 2014. My pups are my whole world, and I am doing everything imaginable to find my babies and get them home! The search for B&Z has not been easy, and we could use some help covering some costs. We had a separate reward fund, but we could use help covering new costs, such as hiring expert video analysts to look at the surveillance video footage and the fees for placing ads in newspapers. All donations will go toward our efforts to get B&Z home, and any leftover money that remains when B&Z are found will be donated to pet rescue organizations.Thank you again for all your support and love in finding my fur babies--I know one day soon we'll get them home!

Every dog is special, but some people are lucky enough to have dogs that in some way touch the hearts of everyone. In this show you will meet three people who have or have worked with such dogs. Before our feature guests, Dr. Jason Nicholas will give us some pet safety tips for the holidays.
Our first feature guest is Eric Ristau, the producer and director of the new documentary film, Sit Stay Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs. This film tells the stories of several people who travel on motorcycles with their dog in a side car such as the man confined to a wheel chair, and the senior dog with health issues that has new energy for life when riding in the sidecar and feeling the open air blowing in his face and bringing a steady stream of new smells and sensations.
Next you will meet Madalyn Ruggiero, who will share with us the legacy of her dog Denali who fell to nasal cancer but lived every day to the fullest spreading joy and love. It is not a story of sorrow, but one of hope.
Lastly, you will meet Richard Nash and Hudson the Railroad Puppy, who was found nailed to railroad tracks and is now living a happy life with a prosthetic leg and working as a therapy dog for children with prosthetics.
If you love dogs and the special bond they have with us, don't miss these stories. It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a desire to hug your dog!

im so excited to be sharing time and space with my friend Paulette Ball on a very sensitive subject of intimacy. I recently experienced a sense of abandoment in a relationship which triggered in me the desire to look at intimacy in my own life. As I was seeking this wisdom, Paulette commented on a thread of mine of how she personally handled this very issue in her own life & her words jumped off the computer and went straight into my soul - here is the thread & her response
"i'm working on this in my own life and i am very interested in how many of my friends feel they have a sufficient amount of intimacy in their lives - male or female doesn't matter and i am not asking about sexual intimacy - i am asking about emotional intimacy.
Paulette Ball - Trust was important with me at first, Goldie. And then it became okay to let the need for trust go. That was a powerhouse for me. Huge.
Golden Hawk - Paulette - you have hit the proverbial nail on the head - its funny cuz i never sense a relationship that gonna go sideways - it just kinda happens.
Paulette Ball - I hear you. I so understand, too. It was the same for me. And people have not changed, so I changed how I viewed their actions/reactions. That is when I let go of the need to trust as a means to keep people at arm's length. We humans... we are something special for sure!"
Please join us on November 24th, Monday night at 8:30pm est - 5:30pm pst for a heartfelt discussion on this very illusive subject.
Paulette Ball was a horse trainer and then became a horse show judge - she opened and owned a health food store for 10 years and learned a LOT there, too. She is a Massage therapist, spiritual counselor, Master Herbalist, nutritional microscopist and bred and trained dogs, too.
