Today I am blessed with a guest who is a man of many interests and accomplishments. Jon D'Amore may be most recognized for his self published story, The Boss Always Sits In the Back, but his pencil has brought to print many more works of wonder. He was and remains a man of music, still jumping to join fellow artistans on stage whenever possible. The backstory of his brethren tells of a generation of goodfellas, and also asserts his help in the caper that changed the law for life. Join us today as we discover how Jon went from being the Kid to the Don of his own domicile.

Wise Guy Talk Radio is proud to present my special guest Jon D Amore author of "THE BOSS ALWAYS SITS IN THE BACK"

The Story of Jon D’Amore’s Hysterically True Mob Past
“The Boss Always Sits In The Back” tells the story of Jon’s relationship with his cousin/Godfather Jerry. Not interested in working for one of the five New York Mafia families, Jon carves out his own path and becomes a musician. However, an invitation to spend his twenty-second birthday in Las Vegas with Jerry leads Jon to unsuspectingly become part of a scam that funnels millions of dollars out of several casinos over the next few years; a scam that would go down in history and change gambling legislation across the United States.
Later, when Jon is summoned by mob boss Rocco Casiano, his knowledge of recording techniques saves The Boss from 40 years in prison by proving the New Jersey State Police edited audio tapes. Suddenly, Jon is the honorary Godson of The Boss, and christened “TheKid.” While Jon longs to go back to his career in music, The Boss’s fears turn into paranoia, which then turns into cold-blooded murder.
“The Boss Always Sits In The Back” is a humorous, suspenseful retelling of actual events that led to the demise of the mob in New Jersey.
A crew of five Irish American bank robbers heists up a bank with concealment over their faces and with their leader wearing a red hood, stealing from the bank itself and dispersing some of the money to ensure their escape. When Gordon and Bullock speak to the bank's employees, they realize this was a pro job and they had scouted the place last week to determine their timing. Tracking down one of the thieves from security footage, they find the crew leader Gus Floyd (Michael Goldsmith) dead and his hood gone, taken by Clyde Destro (Jonny Coyne), the new leader. Meanwhile, Oswald's is still struggling from its unsavory clientele especially once it runs out of alcohol which is sold to the club by Maroni. So Butch has cops on his payroll seize much of Maroni's supply for Cobblepot, establishing an uneasy trust between the two. The Red Hood Gang hits another bank using the same MO. With the assistance of a witness, Gordon and Bullock track down Destro, finding him wounded by a third member who took the mask and became leader. Fish meets with the prison's unnamed manager (Jeffrey Combs) as his boss, the Dollmaker, is currently away. As the manager tries to take her eyes for transplant, Fish removes her own left eye and destroys it to keep it out of their hands before passing out.
the crew is back. The NFL draft is coming up and last week prospects worked out and interviewed in front of NFL GM's, Scouts, and Coaches. Some saw their stock rise while others stock was hurt from the combine. We'll discus it here on the show. As well as speaks no the latest NFL to LA and College news.
First, RevKess and KaliSara would like to apologize for their floating schedule for PWN. Seems that real life keeps creeping in the way of scheduling things during the week. But at least they can still manage to find an hour here and there to share Pagan perspectives on news and issues that are of interest to the Pagan world.
Second, with the idea of confusing schedules comes the concept for this episode. Most of the world is floating in a state of confusion about many different issues that have impact on Pagans and non-Pagans alike. What is ISIL's intent in the Middle East and elsewhere? How is the medical community addressing the ongoing pandemics of HIV/AIDS? What do our world leaders really want for the future? That and so much more is being bandied about by politicos, professionals, journalists and armchair activists. In this episode of PWN your hosts will attempt to tackle some of those questions and float around to other similar topics.
Third, KaliSara and RevKess always welcome comments and questions regarding the programming on PMPChannel. Feel free to drop them a note at email@example.com.
