When Jesus shed his blood on the cross it reconciled all things to God. It accomplished the forgiveness of sins to all those would come to The Lord because God had accepted the sacrifice of Christ's life on our behalf. God imputed to Him the sins of the world and then accepted His blood as a sacrifice. So His right standing before God is imputed to us while our sins were imputed to Him. This profound act of mercy is the fulfillment of the entire Old Testament sacrificial system and Christ's resurrection shows that God accepts His blood as the ultimate Passover Lamb
The Precious Blood of Christ
1 Peter 1:19
Standing at the foot of the cross, we see hands, and feet, and side, all distilling crimson streams of precious blood. It is "precious" because of its redeeming and atoning efficacy. By it the sins of Christ's people are atoned for; they are redeemed from under the law; they are reconciled to God, made one with Him.[i]
Christ's blood is also "precious" in its cleansing power; it "cleanseth from all sin." "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Through Jesus' blood there is not a spot left upon any believer, no wrinkle nor any such thing remains. O precious blood, which makes us clean, removing the stains of abundant iniquity, and permitting us to stand accepted in the Beloved, notwithstanding the many ways in which we have rebelled against our God. The blood of Christ is likewise "precious" in its preserving power. We are safe from the destroying angel under the sprinkled blood. Remember it is God's seeing the blood which is the true reason for our being spared. Here is comfort for us when the eye of faith is dim, for God's eye is still the same.

Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ "Corpus Christi" with Fr. Daniel Kelley, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arlington, TX Today we remember in a special way the gift of the Holy Eucharist, first given to us by Jesus at the Last Supper. This is a gift that we celebrate weekly, some of us even daily—Christ’s Body and Blood given for our salvation and for our nourishment. We are so familiar with it that every now and then we need a reminder of how profound a gift it is. So let us give thanks and praise to God especially today for this great gift of the Eucharist.
St. Joseph Catholic Church is located at 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington, Texas a suburb in the middle of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. For more information, go to our website at www.stjoe88.org or call us at 817-472-5181. Thank you for listening and God bless.
1 Peter 1:16-19 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
is time for a change in our perspective about our relationship with God! No longer shall my relationship with God be scripted or type casted by the things of this world. The world will take our life in the spirit and make it a lie. We must die to the ways of preconceived spirituality and live our lives not OF Christ but IN Christ Jesus. When we decide that we want to live in the righteousness of God, because it gives me peace, love and so many other benefits, we allow old self to be crucified, so that Christ can then live IN us. Therefore, we no longer live...... Come join Rebirthed for the King, Friday, February 12 , 2016 at 7:30pmas we unpack the theme: "No I, But Christ," based on the book by Jason R. Henderson. Come participate in the discussion from scripture:
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me
I die Lord Jesus that you shall live your righteousness in me!
This week, Host Emma Boa-Durgammah is blessed to welcome Christ Follower and Kingdom Worker for Christ, Alisha Washington. Alisha will share how Kingdom Work for Christ can happen through wellness today. Her powerful testimony is indicative of the Lord’s Working Power over our mind, body, soul and spirit.
In 2013, Alisha was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), an autoimmune disease that causes the body to overprotect itself. The immune system in turn interprets everything consumed as an enemy. Like her immune system, Alisha had overprotected herself in every relationship she had with friends, family and strangers, putting put herself before everyone, including God. Tune in to find out how Christ miraculously transformed her life to one of service unto Him.
Alisha is currently a Light and Representative for Christ as the proud mother of 18-year-old songstress, Breyonna, a deacon and singles ministry leader in her local Church, within the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the General Counsel while pursuing a degree in law, a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, mediator, and United States Military Veteran. For the latter, we thank her for her service.
