With one in four Americans upside down in their homes the American Dream has become inverted. 10.8 million people will consider walking out of their homes and starting over. What is involved in making this choice and how does it square with middle class morality or even religion?
On this week's show, we examine the American Dream, what it means and whose dream it actually is... And we discuss how often and for whom this dream becomes reality...

It’s amazing to see people of our community, country, give back to their fellow citizens. Oladipo Olafunmiloye who is also known as Lafa is one man who deserves more than this recognition. Oladipo is a well known in the business of remodeling and construction. He has been successful in his lane and has decided to give back to his community. At his Gambrills Mansion, Oladipo has hosted small numbers of friends, family, employees and spent time at least two Saturday’s each month, feeding the needy. Oladipo has taken it further, he recently had an exclusive viewing for a project he was working on. A program that helps families in the no income to low income bracket.
We were quite privileged to witness the great things that Oladipo has been set in this world to do. As we approached the Gambrills Mansion, we were directed and ushered in an orderly manner, given a small goodie bag & the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful house.
His project, “This Is Your American Dream™” is a reality-based television series that promotes volunteerism and provides free and clear homes to economically disadvantaged families and/or families who have loved ones with life-threatening illnesses or disabilities. David Lee Windecher beat the self-imposed negative cycle of street life through an unwavering faith in God and sheer commitment to be better. He vanquished self-doubt and conquered his deep fears of fitting in at school to pursue an education. David fought tirelessly to beat the system holding him down. He overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles to achieve his dream and change his fate
Dusty Rhodes Tribute Episode: Rest in Peace American Dream
REQUIEM FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM is the definitive discourse with Noam Chomsky, widely regarded as the most important intellectual alive, on the defining characteristic of our time – the deliberate concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a select few.
Through interviews filmed over four years, Chomsky unpacks the principles that have brought us to the crossroads of historically unprecedented inequality – tracing a half-century of policies designed to favor the most wealthy at the expense of the majority – while also looking back on his own life of activism and political participation.
Profoundly personal and thought provoking, Chomsky provides penetrating insight into what may well be the lasting legacy of our time – the death of the middle class, and swan song of functioning democracy. A potent reminder that power ultimately rests in the hands of the governed, REQUIEM is required viewing for all who maintain hope in a shared stake in the future.
