    #T2Q: Apr. 12, 2016 - Zika, 1st Dates, & Self-Driving Cars

    in Current Events

The Zika virus is starting to gain a little momentum in the media.  Is it hype or is it something we should pay attention to when we hear someone speaking about it?  The problem with the media's coverage is that we've seen it all before.  Sure, people get horrible viruses like these and suffer through tragedies.  But has it ever been on the magnitude as the news media paints it?  I'll ask my callers if they're concerned with the Zika virus and if so, why?

You're on a date with your significant other at a casino.  Your mate gives you $100 to play with and you win $1500.  Do you pay any of it back?  Relationship scenarios tonight on T2Q.

Lastly, a Ford Fusion drove through the state of Arizona at night to test it's reliability.  It passed.  How do you feel?  Are we ready for cars to do all of the work while we sit back and text?  How comfortable are you with your vehicle possibly being on auto-pilot some day?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

    Show No. 587

    * Thoughts and prayers go out to Erica Parker and her family.

The Logic of Islam with Dr. Carl Goldberg

    in Politics Conservative

The Koran is the basis of Islam, and in order to understand Islam, we need to know two things:

    1) We need to know that religious Moslems all believe that the Koran is the literal word of Allah -- perfect, complete, unchangeable and valid for all of eternity;

    2) We need to know what the Koran says.

Today, we will examine the role that the Koran plays in the life of a religious Moslem, and we will look at a number of verses in the Koran which deal with Islamic supremacism, attitude toward non-Moslems, making war on non-Moslems, the notion of retaliation, women, Christians and Jews.

If you do not have a Koran, I urge you to get one and read it. It would be helpful if you had a translation of the Koran with you when you listen to this show so that you can compare the translation you hear on the show with the translation you have in front of you.

The most authoritative way you can spread the truth about Islam is to quote the Koran. We will also deal with the question of the reliability of translations and the notion that the verses of the Koran must be viewed "in context" or as referring only to events in the seventh Century with no validity for our time.

    Our Bio-Psychology Reflective Pains

    in Religion

The roots of evil that are affecting and effecting the American Black Nation corresponds to the improper management of their bio-psychology and its energy systems. In order to fix a problem one must first locate the problem, contemplatively-observe the problem, systematically-investigate and seek out relevant resources that may provide useful information. Further, with the relevant resources, one must set out to establish a sound solution based on the validity and reliability of the information and your judgment to apply such knowledge, which requires a focused plan.

Minister Ali will provide to the listeners information that, if properly understood and place in an action plan, will over time bring about freedom from clinically significant bio-psychological pains that are retarding your life.

Author Senator Omer L. Rains on Write Now Radio!

    in Writing

    2pm ET / 1pm CT / 12pm MT / 11am PT

    (Outside US: Dial 00 + 1 + 714-464-4891)

Viki Winterton interviews Senator Omer L. Rains!

US California Senator Omer L. Rains was told, “You’ll never walk again.” Rains had been a politician on the global stage, a power-broking lawyer of A-list celebrities, and conqueror of some of the highest mountains in the world. But when a paralyzing brain aneurysm and stroke hit him at age 61, he became more helpless than a small child.

In his book, Back to the Summit, Rains takes readers on a courageous journey toward recovery, both physical and spiritual, as he reflects on the people, events, and American history that shaped his life and gave him the strength to dare to walk again. Every flashback to the past offers insight into the philosophy that once saved his life and now defines his every action: “Get up from every fall, no matter how great or far, and continue to live life fully.”

Omer received his B.A. (Political Science), his Bachelor of Law degree, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California at Berkeley. Although he no longer engages in a conventional practice of law, he did for many years and his professional ratings are the highest attainable for both “legal ability” and for “faithful adherence to ethical standards and professional reliability.”

1 Thessalonians 4 Resurrection of the Dead Critique of Bellview Lectures

    in Religion

Tonight we continue the critique of Johnny Oxendine's lecture on the resurrection of the dead from 1 Thessalonians chapter 4. We address the chapter in its historical setting. We provide a comparative exegesis (interpretation) of the text by comparing it with the Matthew 24 text. Matthew 24 has all the textual keys for an interpretation of the resurrection. Yet, this divinely inspired text is discredited and disregarded as a valid source of information for the chapter. The ramifications of admitting that Matthew 24 and its AD70 emphasis is too much for the Amillennial Churches of Christ to swallow. As a result, they abandon Scripture and formulate a new eschatological paradigm of futurism.

Today's broadcast is one you don't want to miss. Be sure to share it with family and friends. For more information check out DonKPreston.com or visit AllThingsFulfilled.com.

Have you studied the eschatological emphasis of Psalm 23. Check it out here.
