New York Times bestselling author Robert Spencer provides the startling answers in Did Muhammad Exist? An Inquiry into Islam’s Obscure Origins – just released in paperback. Spencer offers a sober but unflinching look at the early days of one of the world’s major religions. Far from an anti-Islamic polemic, this book brings to Islam the same standard of searching historical criticism that scholars have applied to Christianity and Judaism for more than two centuries.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
I always hear ladies ask what they could do to make their guy/husband become satisfied with them. The truth is that even if you are beautiful, the best cook, sexually active and submissive, you can't satisfied him if he is not DISCIPLINED. I believe that most women should demand God fearing men. Some Man will never be satisfied, no matter how much you give in, they will eventually go stray. It is just the nature of some beast! To roam free! "In his own image and likeness and with free willy". I believe some man who cheat are very insecure. I feel the same way about single or married women who have a very promiscuous past. Some man will go through life looking for others to validate their self worth.
Some Men just adore women who can make them FEEL GOOD about themselves. In order for some men to feel good, they have to receive plenty of praise and admiration instead of constant criticism. Some Men also hate to be nagged and if it happens too often they tend to just switch off – Are you guilty of this? Men like their freedom sometimes, which is quite normal. All men expect a healthy sex life – without it they will feel deprived.
How to handle critcism like a star!
Wendy Davis is making headlines for her newly released memoir, Forgetting to be Afraid. In the book, Davis revealed for the first time that she had two abortions herself. She also details her gritty and sometimes unhappy life growing up, first in Rhode Island and then Texas, Oklahoma and California.
Henry Kissinger’s ‘World Order’By JOHN MICKLETHWAIT
How do America’s current leaders shape up? Here the book is both irritatingly coy and implicitly devastating. There is no direct criticism of the Obama administration and even a slightly comic paragraph expressing Kissinger’s deep personal admiration for George W. Bush — in the midst of a section on the cluelessness of his foreign policy. The world is drifting, unattended, and America, an indispensable part of any new order, has yet to answer even basic questions, like “What do we seek to prevent?” and “What do we seek to achieve?”
Francis Fukuyama’s ‘Political Order and Political Decay’By SHERI BERMAN
Fukuyama’s readers are thus left with a depressing paradox. Liberal democracy remains the best system for dealing with the challenges of modernity, and there is little reason to believe that Chinese, Russian or Islamist alternatives can provide the diverse range of economic, social and political goods that all humans crave. But unless liberal democracies can somehow manage to reform themselves and combat institutional decay, history will end not with a bang but with a resounding whimper.
Enjoy exploration into phenomenological perspectives regarding our treatment of non-human animals, the environment, and ourselves.

The first thing I feel needs clarification is our attitude towards Islam. I need to be as clear about this as humanly possible.
Islam is a religious political and cultural system. Its no more deserving of protection than that of Nazism or Communism with which, by the way, it shares a great deal. Islam is not a race and therefore criticism of it is not racist.

DO NOT COUNT AMERICA OUT!
Amidst the mounting criticism, President Barack Obama announced that he will explain to the American people and Congress his plan for offensive actions against Islamic State militants that are seemingly becoming a threat to the United States.
Ironically, President Obama will make a speech on Wednesday, September 10 just one day before the historical 9/11, 2001 attack on America, when al Qaeda militants flew hijacked planes into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon, killing almost 3,000 people. The President's speech will "describe what our game plans [are] going to be". He plans to meet congressional leaders on Tuesday to seek their support for his strategy to halt the militant Islamist group, which controls parts of Syria and Iraq.
Far too many Americans, especially conservative media groups, are criticizing the President, claiming that he "campaigned on getting U.S. troops out of Iraq, but has struggled to articulate how he wants to address Islamic State" Do not count America out! Acts of war go hand-and-hand with the lost of lives! Until the President and his military advisors have a comprehensive strategy, Americans should be united!
"I just want the American people to understand the nature of the threat and how we're going to deal with it and to have confidence that we'll be able to deal with it," Obama said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" that aired on Sunday.

Your opinion might or might not be so important after all. Some people can and others cant take a "Constructive" opinion because they feel broken down by it. If you have been there before, join us in the Chat Room to look into this mystery. Is the term "Constructive Critisim" really "Constructive"?

Today's show being Friday any topic can come up, that's just how we do it. Relax have fun, and turn up the volume.
If you hear more critical than critiquing talk, it may be time to change some things. Being demeaning with putdowns, complaints, fault-finding, derogatory remarks, etc. is increasingly taken to mean a person is criticizing. This is the number two reason for couple’s breakups (the number one reason is insufficiently loving) according to some research. Criticism helps love relationships break apart. Critiquing, as a rule, helps love relationships address issues in a balanced, positive way.
It is a mistake trying to make improvements in a relationship by talking in the negative i.e. griping, complaining, blaming, criticizing, etc.. Relationship related complaints are often founded in love hunger and an appropriate desire to be better treated, or are founded in some hurtful experience to which well expressed love will be the cure.
