Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx interviews Rapper Mike Tess from Yonkers, New York
New York’s newest rap phenom, Mike Tess and this time he’s taking us back to the roots of hip hop. Mike Tess started a huge underground movement with the release of his last album, “Without a Care”. The album was an instant classic and created a big demand for Tess on his official Pandora and VEVO accounts.
His newfound fame led to a lot of open doors with other artists and also earned him verification on his Twitter account. With all of this attention, Mike Tess has decided to release his next project “P.S. 32”. The five track EP will deliver that same hard-hitting beats that his fans have grown to love along with a new gritty street flow that will be sure to take hip hop back to its roots. Tess has also announced that there will be official video releases for all five songs from the EP.

Join me Monday, July 14th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso as we dip into the RE Archives. We'll be re-airing a great chat I had back in August 2013 with veteran radio host and journalist Tess Vigeland. Tess wowed the crowd at WDS in Portland, Oregon last summer with her keynote speech "What the Hell Are You Doing?! A Serious Stare Down the Barrel of an Ordinary Life", her vulnerable and real-life tale of giving up a sure thing for the chance to pursue a dream! We learned more about Tess' journey, what happened immediately after her speech, and how her brave talk about "figuring out Act Four" has already inspired so many!
