As the NYPD declares war against the citizens of their cities after the mysterious deaths of two of their officers who were allegedly working overtime as part of an "anti-terrorist" task force in Bed-Stuy,...we continue our presentation and discussion of the 10 principles of war and will be discussing the third principle of 'Offensive'.
If you miss this broadcast or its subsequent archive recording then you might want to re-evaluate whether you truly believe we are at war,....and why you don't know or understand the principles OF war(?).
Doing my best to help the Lord set the brushfires of freedom in the hearts of men and to restore America, God willing, to the beacon of freedom she was meant to be.

"Poignant Christmas Songs." In the wake of this year's racially-motivated or terrorist crimes, sometimes you wonder why bother celebrating Christmas. But that makes some of our best carols all the more affecting, reminding us of the best in ourselves, that we should strive for. Today's show revisits some favorites with double-meanings, such as "White Christmas," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth," "Christmas Eve Sarajevo," and "Santa Lucia." (Replay of 2012 show.) Enjoy!

The film The interview" about an assassination plot on the Head of North Korea Kim Jong Un may have become to popular comedy. Or it may have faded away in obscurity as another bad movie. We'll never know, Sony Pictures has chosen not to release the film to the theaters, based on the theater owners' decision not to play the film and risk threatened terrorist attacks. Some say Americans shouldn't let foreigners tell them what kinds of movies they can watch. But was the movie in poor taste from the beginning? Should it have even been made in the first place? And is the assassination of a government leader ever funny? How should President Obama respond to North Korea and to Sony?
In this episode of Hindu Radio I interview Gulie Khalaf. She is an American Yezidi schoolteacher and leading Yezidi activist from Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. After her people in Iraq became the focus of the Islamist terror group ISIL she rose up to the occasion. Gulie recently went back to Iraq to assist her people languising in refugee camps.
Until this year most people had never heard of the Yezidi. Suddenly as the terrorist group ISIL began massacring and kidnapping their people the world moved into action. US President Obama ordered the US Airforce into action. Yet after some intitial efforts the Yezidi were once again forgotten. As they were buthchered and chased out of town after town the Yezidis were forced to take shelter in their ancient stronghold of Holy Mt Shingal. For months they battled repeated attemtps by ISIL to storm the mountain. Many Yezidi martyrs gave their lives in this effort. Only in the past week were the terrorists forced back from the mountain.
During this crisis the Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also visited Iraq and organized a peace conference and gave a speech at the Kurdish Parliament. Meanwhile the Hindu community united with the Yezidis and has raised thousands of dollars on behalf of the Yezidi people of Iraq.
Now long term efforts must be developed to rehabilate the Yezidis and recover their ancient homelands.
Tonight Bonnie Kaye is proud to have Jack Engelhard as her guest. Jack is one of America's most noted contemporary authors best known for his book Indecent Proposal that was made into a block buster movie staring Robert Redford, Demi Moore, and Woody Harrelson. It is now opening in Israel in Hebrew as a play. Jack has authored books that sell millions of copies around the world and have been translated into numerous languages. His books take you into the psychological insight of the moral dilemmas we are all faced with during our lives leaving us to question if we are all capable of giving in to temptation of the heart rather than do the right thing. His sharp, staccato style draws you into the story from the first page and doesn't let you go until you are finished reading. Tonight we will be highlighting Jack's recently released books which are the Bathsheba Deadline, a thriller tied in to today's current Middle East terrorist groups and Compulsive which gives the reader a front row seat into a man's life consumed by addiction.
Jack originally started his writing career as a news man writing articles and editorials for the Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications. He currently writes a column several times a week for a popular Israeli newspaper Arutz Sheva.
You can read more about Jack his books on his website at www.Jackengelhard.com.
On a personal level, Jack has greatly touched my life and thinking as a writer and as a human being. After reading any of his books, you'll be thinking for a long time about the temptations that face us in life, and if you would be strong enough to walk the other way.
The Islamic State, ISIL/ISIS/Daesh - whatever people may call them - are not a flash in the pan. Not quite insurgency, not quiet terrorist organization, not quite nation state - what they are is a presence that has resilience, trans-national support, and has a long range plan.
What is their background, how have they evolved, and how do they view the world?
