1Jo 5:6, “This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
The bible instructs us to seek the truth, yet when we find the truth few believe that it is in fact truth—even though they can read it for themselves. I have often wondered why so few words can be so easily misunderstood and those who form no opinion about God’s word are persecuted when they find it. Well it is because of the nature of truth. What do I mean, “The nature of Truth”, you ask? First… the nature of truth has no opinion. Secondly…the nature of truth is not subject to interpretation, and thirdly… the nature of truth is not tolerant. This means that truth is absolute. Truth has limits and is endless. The limit is that there is a period, but lasts forever—Just like Christ. Truth goes against the nature of reality and thought, because both are subjective. As kingdom citizens we are not.
Relative and natural thought has and will only seek out self-preservation, while truth operates regardless of how things look or how we think or feel. Truth—being the only absolute— will reject any argument that has opinion or poses questions to anything that gives no true meaning of defining right or wrong or a beginning and an end that last forever. Emotional experiences are subject to the way we feel, thus can be void of truth. Void because if God’s will is dependent on our feelings, that would make him subject to us and not us to him. Please join us to understand what the Church (You) look like without an opinion and what one looks like with one. Call (310)982-4267 at 6:30pm EST.

The show today will be about PrEP and I really want many of you to take part in this discussion. Join us to bring awareness to the community. Historically, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has affected more men than women. However, if new HIV infections continue at their current rate worldwide, women with HIV may soon outnumber men with HIV. HIV infection impacts a growing number of women in Illinois each year. Nearly 7,000 women in Illinois are currently known to be living with HIV and/or AIDS. Many hundreds of other women are probably living with HIV even though they are unaware of their own infection. HIV/AIDS disproportionately impacts African-American women in Illinois and the United States. Nationally, HIV infection is the leading cause of death for African-American women between the ages of 25 and 34. In Illinois, the number of HIV cases among African-American women continues to climb. Roughly 68 percent of Illinois women living with HIV are African American, while African Americans only make up 15 percent of the Illinois population. Caucasian women account for 16 percent of Illinois women living with HIV, while the Caucasian population represents more than 73 percent of Illinois residents. Latina women represent roughly 11 percent of the HIV/AIDS cases in women, while 13 percent of the Illinois population is Latino. Roughly 4 percent of women with HIV are from Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander and other communities. Women in their 30s are the most likely to be living with HIV/AIDS, and almost all Illinois women living with HIV are between the ages of 20 and 50.
How is your Memorial Day going? Solemn? Picnicing, or just being outside for Spring? In thought? Like ANY other day for your own 'Memorial TBI' - being quiet and alone. We certainly like those days, I well understand. Especially while listening to an old (ok, classic) Eagles song - "I get a peaceful, easy feeling..." But this is Indianapolis, and it's Race Day! It's anything but peaceful around here - and the Downtown Milton Studio is 50-miles away from THE Track. The Greatest Specical in Racing takes over then Month of May. As is liked to say - "Visit, enjoy yourself, spend your money and get the hell out of town."
I've learned to ignore most of the hoopla, it seems better for my stimuli. However, this is Indiana, and we grew up on Racing, er, Racin'. We have more tracks per capita than most countries do, let along states. Yes, there is a basketball court in all the parking lots, I'm sure. Brain Injury and Auto Racing go hand in hand (head on head?). Another reflection most Hoosiers and racing fans always have. It seemed to drift away. Personally, I know a large amount of 'backyard' racers whose weekend running laps is as well as dangerous as an explodinng IndyCar, to the skull. Blunt force be damned, remember, tremendous speeds also can cause "trememdous whiplash" which will effect the brain more than the neck. And these drivers? Neighbors, husbands (wifes), parents, thrill seekers and simply adults who grew up around the auto business. Competitiors. Kept at a level of performance that life has created. Let's meet one. Let's' also discuss Mt Lawn's donation to the HARD workers of the NC Miracle League Volunteers. And, Not to be overlooked is TMDS Med MJ Month. Listen, call.

"It is better to TRUST in the Lord, than to put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8) This week we are revealing HOW to TRUST God. It is easy to say, but as the scripture states, man has a way of putting confidence in man. So let's reverse this cycle, and trust God intentionally, that we be not moved by the cares of this world (Psalm 125:1). The Rose of Sharon Show is completely dedicated to Ephesians 4:15. We provide the knowledge that generates understanding and awareness for leading life 'as He (Jesus) is in this world" IAW 1 John 4:17.

To learn more about ABB, here's ABB's Brief Bio:
ABB a.k.a. Astralboobaby is a self-identified messenger, catalyst, multi-media artist, producer, writer, blogger and Christ-anchor. He was born with what many of the spiritual community would call a ‘veil’ or ‘caul’, which has aided in one who has a ‘gift of sight’ as the elders of the spiritual community has often deemed those who are born under such circumstances. ABB acknowledges to having a level of sight and sensitivity that permits him an ability to naturally decode, perceive and sense beyond the typical five senses. He would often express his unique perception and connection through His art and with anyone who would show an interest in such subject matters. As a child, ABB continuously demonstrated a level of awareness and knowing beyond his biological age. As a pre-teen, his family members, friends and associates were often shocked and surprised when he would innocently speak of events and situations that he had not witnessed nor was privy to.
ABB, extra-sensory perception and inherent connection to the greater reality in and around us, would inevitably grow to the point of him having spontaneous out of body experiences (OBE’s) and astral projection, as far back as he could remember. In the fall of 2009, ABB was moved by spirit to begin publicly sharing his personal experiences and revelations by way of Youtube. By blending theatrics (from his former musical theater experiences and training), artistic expression, original art, music and powerful revelatory messages, ABB begin producing uniquely made videos that struck a chord with people of all walks of life.

Mary Ellen Danuser book, Freedom to Choose, sheds light as to why some people choose to date and marry outside their race. She believes that issues on interracial relationships are not fairly understood in today's society, partly attributed to the lack of public awareness on the subject. In turn it is the result of scarcely documented literature deeply addressing the case from the rare personal viewpoint. With this in mind, she wrote Freedom to Choose - Is Skin Color Really an Issue?” a compilation of true stories from interracially married couples all over the US, including the author’s real-life experiences.
The book mainly tells the story of Mary Ellen and her spouse, John Dakota, a retired Marine officer and commercial pilot, interpolated with the narratives of the couples she has interviewed. It offers a rare look into the lives of these couples, revealing insights as to the rationales why some people choose their mates outside their race - a portrait of motive, intent, and personal choice. The real names of the pairs are withheld but the experiences shared are authentic and real.
Mary Ellen, who served in the US Army as a medical specialist and an Army recruiter, is a retired insurance professional. With her husband she enjoys traveling, attending car races, dining out, outdoor concerts, reading, walking, sightseeing, and just hanging out with each other. Mary Ellen, born in Springfield, Illinois, grew up in Vandalia, Missouri. Because her passion since her retirement is writing non-fiction books, she is working on her second non-fiction book.

Black Man Clay has performed all over the country, including schools K-12, teaching: “Truth, love and communication, that's all we need to help the nation.” This book outlines these teachings.
