Doreen Penner will be Terri’s featured guest on this week’s episode of Moving Forward in Faith. Doreen is a Professional Counselor, Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker. She will be joining us to talk about what it means to be "sifted and shifted." There comes a time when God takes us through the sifting and shifting process, it’s not because he doesn't care, but because he LOVES us.
The SIFT is the clearing process. Sometimes this takes us through personal storms; other times it means the small things are becoming big things that stunt how God wants to use us. We need to clean up the sinful debris that shows up in our lives. The SHIFT is where God reveals his plan for us so we can walk into the next step or phase he has planned and prepared for us. The shift is what transforms our life. Be sure to tune in to hear more!

Rejected by her father and teased at school, young Michelle was vulnerable and fell victim to a pedophile. She was only 12 and he was 42, married with kids. A shocking story of human struggle, tragedy and inspiration. Here is a short excerpt from Michelle's story published on Authors Den:
"I’d never had a relationship with my own father, so when Phil came into my life I had no idea what I was getting into. I was 12 and he was 42. It all seemed to happen so fast. One minute I was hearing him tell me he was in love with me, and the next minute… The physical aspect of our relationship was unsettling. I still played with Barbie dolls and he knew it. Walking home after spending the day with my seventh grade classmates, I’d sometimes see his car parked at the church waiting for me. I’d run inside and tell him all about my day. He pretended to be interested but he clearly had other reasons for being there."

Kim Sill has it goin' on in California with her organization D Cups Saving Teacups. She's actually gotten some of the area pet stores to start working with shelters, rather than sourcing their dogs from puppy mills... YUCK! Puppy mills keep their breeding dogs in horrible conditions and also tend to breed dogs with genetic and health problems. Bad news.
Listen to my entertaining and inspiring interview with Kim Sill and enjoy being educated and entertained!
