Lost Arts Radio host Richard Sacks (www.lostartsradio.com) has been an independent holistic health scientist since 1965. Initially motivated by his own serious health problems of the time, he made the decision to explore beyond the accepted limits and understandings of medical science to regain the vibrant state of health and ageless energy he felt was our normal condition. He began an investigation of the deeper knowledge of health and consciousness from ancient sources that modern science fails to comprehend and often brushes off with condescending arrogance. What he discovered in a multi-decade journey crossed many arbitrary dividing lines between physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, organic agriculture (before USDA took over the term), and laws of nature that have been operating and were understood long before any of the philosophies, religions or academic disciplines we know of were even conceived. Having spent the last 40 years looking for ways to adapt ancient knowledge to modern conditions, reaching simultaneously into realms of science and consciousness, he continues the exploration and experimentation to this day. Recently invited to do a radio show on health in the broader sense of the word, covering many areas of study, Richard started Lost Arts Research Institute and Lost Arts Radio, to share what he has put together over a long period of study, trial and error, and discovery.
This Saturday for the first time so far on Lost Arts Radio, Richard will share some of what he has learned over many years of this study, hoping that it might be useful to you in maximizing your own state of health, energy and well being during your life in this very challenging age.
It was wet stormy day at the Sepang track, during qualifying, for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, on Saturday. Mercedes wunderkind and two-time champion Lewis Hamilton took his second pole position in the second race of the season. Former Red Bull champion Sebastian Vettel, in his first season driving for Ferrari, broke-up the Mercedes 1-2 front row by taking second away from fellow German, Nico Rosberg. A very disappointed Nico Rosberg, will be starting in third position. Red Bulls, Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat qualified 4th and 5th respectively. For the first time in 54-years, a teenager, Max Verstappen, qualified in the top ten in Formula One Grand Prix qualifying. Verstappen, driving for Toro Rosso, and will be starting, sixth, on Sunday. At age 17, Verstappen is the youngest driver in Formula One. Thunderstorms and torrential rains stopped any momentum Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen may have had, scoring in the top ten. He will start in eleventh, position. The Sepang crowd welcomed back an injured Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas after both drivers suffered injuries doing what the love, racing. With dynamics on the track changing, Sunday's race should be spectacular.
Keep it tuned to Xiro Xone F1 Sports for all the action at the Formula One Grand Prix, Malaysia.
Meditation, at its deeper level, is not really a technique. It is an attitude that is all-important. Meditation is a simple thing. It is not complex. It is not a matter of getting lost in the imagination. Meditation is to descend to the root of consciousness, to the root of the “I, ”that ground where the “I” arises from muck of the material.
What’s our hack for meditation? It all begins with a chakra clearing and an introduction to your Naked Spirit.
Let's explore further this idea of meditation and journey further on the path of the Spiritual Warrior together ... and tonight, we'll hit the ground running with a Chakra Clearing to get on track!

'What I am telling you now was told tome by many of these same soldiers who were ready to fire on the people.' Reclining again, he continued. 'The tanks were trying to penetrate the crowd. And the people were praying and showing their rosaries. That is when, according to these soldiers, the Marines who were riding on top of the tanks, the so-called Loyalists (to Marcos), they saw up in the clouds the form of the cross. The many sisters had tried to stop them, but they (the soldiers) told me they had already decided to obey instruction and push through. It is now just a question of ten minutes or so. You push the trigger and there you are -- everybody will be dead.' Again, the Cardinal leaned forward. 'Then, a beautiful lady appeared to them. I don't know if she appeared in the sky or was standing down on the ground. (Others would later tell me they thought she was a nun, dressed in blue, and that she was standing in front of the tanks.) So beautiful she was, and her eyes were sparkling. And the beautiful lady spoke to them like this: 'Dear soldiers, stop! Do not proceed! Do not harm my children! And when they heard that, the soldiers put down everything. They came down from the tanks and they joined the people. So, that was the end of the Loyalists.' Cardinal Sin paused, turning his hands upward. 'I don't know who these soldiers are. All I know is that they came here crying to me. They did not tell me that is was the Virgin. They told me only that it was beautiful sister. But you know,' he paused, laughing heartily, 'I have seen all the sisters in Manila, and there are no beautiful ones. So it must have been the Virgin!'

Through Recovery we have come to find Ourselves-once lost within our minds-captured and being held captive by our active Addictions, which would tell us that we were NO GOOD or TOO GOOD or WE DIDN'T BELONG, etc... you get the picture. We became LONERS and Isolationists to our detriment & that of those loved ones around us as well.

NOW you don't need to find MY God - however I/we will encourage you to find a relationship with a God of your own choosing. Daniel Updike (aka Wodenson) is an Asatruar and Gothi of Har's Hall Kindred from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Wodenson came to this way of life close to 47 years ago, has been a seminar speaker, and was the originator of 'The Asatru & Ancient Runes' series which launched Har's Hall Kindred in Edmonton. He hosts NRR-Northern Runes Radio, a podcast exploring the Northern European Mythos both religiously, and esoterically. Throughout the program, we'll discuss what it means to live the Asatru way in the 21st century, awakening our ancient awareness. Daniel first clarifies misunderstandings associated with Asatru such as it being a religion. We'll hear about the European folk code of honor, ethics, the 9 noble virtues and the 3 norns. Daniel speaks about our ancestral folk traditions and their view of the 'dead.' Later, we talk about embracing the struggle so our folk can become more. Struggle is an essential part of being alive and progressing. In the second hour, we'll discuss European folk who have forgotten who they are, who have lost connection to the folk soul. Additionally, western fallacies have indoctrinated us to lower the bar. Now we must reverse the decay. Daniel also talks about the ways in which Christianity is in opposition to Asatru, such as teaching unworthiness. We'll discuss the path to becoming more and the battle for the mind and soul of our people. Later, Daniel provides more examples of the Asatru way and how to implement it into our modern lives. He also tells us about the positive Viking view of women and how Vikings were not mindless barbarians as we are told to believe. Daniel leaves us with a closing message.

Morris’ contribution: 127 points. His total shot attempts are lost to history, but Morris made 57 field goals, a bucket about every 30 seconds. He was 13 for 21 from the foul line, shooting underhanded “granny-style,” as required by coach Smith. Morris’ point total still stands as the second-highest nationwide for a high school player. The record, set a year earlier in 1960, is 135. Morris is one of 15 high school boys to score more than 100 in a game, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations. His 57 field goals that night are a national record.Morris holds another record from that night for which he’s not recognized: highest point total in a Virginia high school basketball game.
