"Family Talk Wednesday" Why are kids so disrespectful these days?

    in Youth

Parents have no control. Either they dont want control or it is taken away from them by the government. If a kid gets his *** whipped because of bad behaviour, all the little bastard has to do is go to school and say he is being abused. In addition, parents want to be friends and not role models for their kids. No responsibility from the parents. There is a reason for social structure. Teachers also have no control. If an instructor gives a bad grade, the kid goes and cries to the parents that the teacher doesnt like him/her and then the parent gets irate and goes off on the teacher. The teacher then in turn, says, "I dont get paid enough to deal with this bullshit." and just passes the little bastard. In addition, teachers are at fault for not having a good bullshit detector to identify the bad kids. Finally, teachers mess up by not asserting authority and try to be friends instead of mentors.

Television shows depicting the children running amok. First off it is the parents that need to stop allowing their kids to watch this crap, but kids are easily influenced by television. The things their parents did and they turned out great and most of them respected others and were good kids...not all but most unlike today. Kids now have more freedom now which I am thankful for. For me, I don't really listen to today's music. I like music from my grand parents and great grand parents generations. It just sounds better in my opinon.

    Flex and Shanice live MRTR

    in Pop Culture

    Celebrating Over 150 Episodes!

Hosts: Jamel, Derrick Dwayne and Flash Gotti

#MyRealTalkRadio interviews Multi-Talented Power Couple: FLEX & SHANICE.

Actor comedian Flex Alexander and 90's pop star Shanice are the celebrity couple of this hit docu-series on the OWN network. After hitting

some financial setbacks, the former sitcom star and his singer wife brought in family members of their extended family and Shanice's "momager" Crystal, into their rental home to help make ends meet. Professionally, things are improving: Flex has comedy gigs booked, and Shanice is ready to hit the stage and start recording again. Rumors were that Crystal was to blame for her daughter's career troubles, so Shanice must re-evaluate that relationship all while juggling booking her own gigs and parenting preteens Imani and Elijah. As the financial struggles endure, the fairytale couple along with the help and love of their family, are focused and ready to get back on their feet and make a comeback to remember.

Shanice released her first independent album Every Woman Dreams, on her own label Imajah Records (named for her two children), which has sold over 200,000 copies to date. Thanks to technological advances, Shanice has remained widely visible, receiving close to six million hits from her youtube followers, prompting an article in Huffington post wherein she was called a marketing genius!  Now ready for her major return to the stage, more talented, stronger and sexier than ever, Shanice has collaborated with writers and producers extraordinaire and has recorded a collection of irresistible hits which tell the stories of pain, love, loss and triumph!

    in Culture

TZM Global Ep. 169 with Peter Joseph, April 1st 2015

    Featured Zday talks:

    1) Lee Camp

    2) Jim Phillips

James Phillips, United Kingdom James Phillips is the co-coordinator of TZM Education: A global initiative to enable TZM members to go into educational institutions and deliver the movement’s train of thought to the next generation. He is a regular host of the movement’s global radio show and a regular speaker at several events in the UK pertaining to sustainability and societal structure for both TZM and 3rd party organizations. He also helps to co-ordinate the London chapter of the movement in the UK and goes into Schools on a regular basis to talk to the younger generations about various topics ranging from human behaviour to sustainable technology. Presentation: TZM Education: Launchpad Sustainability Regarding a strategic and effective approach to activism. What works, what doesn’t and what even counts as a metric when trying to measure such a thing. I will be elucidating why much of what we currently do as a movement could potentially be nowhere near as effective as what could be achieved by going into Schools and talking to kids in a joint and strategic effort. Lee Camp, United States*

Lee Camp is the head writer and host of the weekly comedy news show ‘Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp’ on RT America. He’s a former contributor to The Onion, former staff humor writer for the Huffington Post, and his web series “Moment of Clarity” has been viewed by millions. He’s toured the country and the world with his fierce brand of political stand-up comedy, and George Carlin’s daughter Kelly said he’s one of the few comics keeping her father’s torch lit. His TV show and podcast can be found at LeeCamp.net, as can his comedy albums and books.
