The Celtics need a new coach, someone who is OK with taking over a rebuilding team. If they want to look down the road to Framingham and across the globe to Tel Aviv, there is a strong candidate who has yearned for an NBA head coaching job for years. He is David Blatt of Maccabi Tel Aviv, an American expatriate who has been coaching the Russian national team since the middle of the last decade. Blatt grew up in Framingham, Mass. but has been living overseas since graduating from Princeton, where he was a college teammate of former Knicks executive Steve Mills. No word yet on whether Dany Ainge might consider him, as the Celtics and Clippers are still waiting for details of Rivers' coaching contract to be finalized.
There is a whirlwind of "stuff" going on around the world of news and politics!
Is Obamacare on the way out? Court says yes (in so many words). Another court says no (in so many words). What now?
Certain people thingk the no-fly zone placed over Tel Aviv does not apply to them. My question is why was there a 24 hour limitation placed over the airport?
These topics and more coming up "In the Pickle Barrel" at 7AM-8:30AM EST. Hope you will koin in the conversation.

Israel will 'evacuate Tel Aviv' in event of a missile attack. According to the AFP, the commander in charge of Israel's central region said Israel will evacuate the entire population of Tel Aviv if it is hit by missiles, particularly if they have unconventional warheads. Colonel Adam Zus-man, chief of the Home Front Command in Israel's Gush Dan region, which encompasses the city of Tel Aviv and its environs, said an attack on the centre of the country would force massive evacuations. He said, "Massive evacuations will take place in case of unconventional attacks and if buildings are destroyed by a missile."
Iran says the West has failed to halt its nuclear program. According to the Times of Israel, the chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Sa-eed Ja-li-li said that Western efforts to curb Iran's nuclear program have failed. Speaking to the Iranian parliament, Jalili decried Western sanctions and economic pressures against the Islamic Republic, adding that Tehran views peaceful nuclear activities as a basic, legitimate right and symbol of progress. He stressed that all Western efforts to stop Iran's nuclear activities have failed.
Nigerian Islamists vow to continue killing Christians. According to Assist News Service, International Christian Concern says that following the attacks, the Islamists vowed to continue their killing campaign until they succeed in establishing an Islamic state in Nigeria. Ab-ul Qa-qa, Boko Haram's spokesman, said in a phone interview, "The Nigerian state and Christians are our enemies and we will be launching attacks on the Nigerian state and its security apparatus as well as churches until we achieve our goal of establishing an Islamic state in place of the secular state."
Israel deploys Iron Dome battery to protect Tel Aviv. According to the Jerusalem Post, The army recently stationed a battery of the Iron Dome system in the Dan region, as part of an aerial defense exercise against a simulated rocket attack on greater Tel Aviv. The IDF emphasized that the drill is not operational and does not involve the firing of interception rockets, but is merely a technical test planned in advance, aimed at practicing rapid deployment of the system. Nevertheless, the exercise is an indication of preparations by the military for additional confrontations with Gazan terrorist organizations.
Egypt designates Israel as its 'top enemy'. According to Front Page Magazine, Egypt's parliament, which is dominated by two pro-Sharia Islamic supremacist groups, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists, voted unanimously last week to expel Israel's ambassador to Egypt. They also signaled that the Camp David Accords would soon be a thing of the past. The parliamentarians declared that Egypt would "never" be Israel's ally and designated the country as Egypt's "number one enemy."
Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:11 and 13: "Take heed that no man deceive you...many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many...But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
Syrian church fears 'ethnic cleansing' of Christians in Homs. According to the Los Angeles Times, The Syrian Orthodox Church is worried about "an ongoing ethnic cleansing of Christians" in the embattled city of Homs. A Vatican report said that anti-government militants have expelled 90% of Christians in Homs and confiscated their residences by force. We have a great show lined up. May Golan (@GolanMay) be joining us to brinig you a report from Tel Aviv in Israel on the ground. Israel is under attack, the world is giving the Palestinians a pass, meanwhile Hamas rockets rain down on innocent civilians. She will be telling us what it is like living thru these attacks, the sirens, the bomb shelters, the fear. We'll also talk with her about the political situation there, here in the US and how the world views this crisis. May also heads an NGO called HebrewCity and is an outspoken advocate for a strong Israel. We are so excited to have her on!
Also, we're discussing the border Crisis. Glen Beck wants to deliver food and toys to the kids down there. Is that encouraging others to continue to come up here, taking responsibility away from the government, or just the Christian thing to do?

So grab a drink and join us for the greatest couple of hours of the weekend. Live, from Cassa de Hammy, the Bar is Open and we are Getting Hammered!!
in The Bible
Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you. Israel was physically restored to their ancestral homeland officially on May 14, 1948. But spiritually they are far from having a relationship with the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Tel Aviv is the LGBT capital of the world, and secularism, not scripture, controls their government and political affairs.
In tonight's bible study, we pay a visit and spend some time with the prophet Zechariah, to see for ourselves what it will be like for the Jews in the day when Israel shall finally be restored and become what God always intended her to be - a light unto all the nations round about her.
With your radio host and bible teacher, Geoffrey Grider of Now The End Begins.
"Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem." Zechariah 1:16

We are all products of the messages we receive in our lives; messages from peers, media, and friends. None of these messages are as powerful as those we receive from our caregivers in childhood. Our childhood messages impact the intimacy we have or don’t have, our parenting skills, even the careers we choose. We become imprisoned in these roles, guided by inner voices created in childhood. Together lets silence those intrusive inner voices, so wecan be who we truly want to be not who we were were set up to be.
