Are you an adult who’s living with Mom and Dad again? -
Is Dating a Challenge for you?
When I was in my twenties I dated a number of guys who still lived at home,of course initially "all" claimed to live at home because they were helping out their parents.Yeah right.Amazingly enough most too this day are still there and still supposedly helping out their parents.
The reality was they had no bills to pay,mom still cooked their meals, cleaned their rooms and washed their undies.Dad still gave them the car and gas money.I guess they thought their mere presence actually "helped" out their parents.
Past the age of 25 if you are still living at home with your parents then you are a loser.Get out and get a life.
Trust me no woman likes getting surprised by his parents when you decide to get freaky on the kitchen table and mom and dad were not supposed to be home all day

If you are in your mid forties to early fifties and like hard rock and metal music I bet you love the movie "Spinal Tap". In my circle of friends, that movie is a religious experirnce. The fictional rockumentary is quoted over and over whenever we all get together, so I wanted to dedicate a portion of this show to talking about that movie and how it affected my teen years. I hope you will check in with your own memories of that movie.
We will also have an update on this past Fridays Farrell football rout of St Joseph by the Sea at Alumni Field in Staten Island. I will analyze the first Jet game with Percy Harvin and look at the first Giants game after the bye.
I will have a review of the new KIX CD and update the latest Eddie Trunk Podcasts as well as all of the latest news in The hard rock and metal music
Finally the first NCAA Football play-off ranking are coming out on Tuesday October 28th and we will take a look at those ranking and see if we agree.
Seems like a lot to talk about and I hope that you not only listen in, but call in and participate.
Keep on Rockin!!!!!
Join Me this Thursday with my Special Guest Astrologer Kathy Rose
I began my study of astrology and all things metaphysical in third grade. I pestered my mom constantly to get me a book about astrology — she finally gave in and bought me "Linda Goodman's Sun Signs". I remember as I was reading, it was like I was remembering something I already knew.
That was when I started to think about the concept of reincarnation and past lives. I felt like I had studied astrology in another life - it was all too familiar.
I was always very intuitive in my childhood - once in 4th grade I won a contest because I guessed how many little candy hearts were in a giant jar. It was my first experience using intuition "on command". From that point on I was focused on developing and understanding the psychic senses along with the exploration of astrology.
When I was 24 I started my practice as a full-time astrologer and intuitive. I also met Pete Sanders, founder of Free Soul, at that time. Connecting with Free Soul gave me the methods and techniques to really advance my ability to get information intuitively.
I immediately took the instructor training for the Free Soul Method, and began training other people to understand and tap their own intuition. Since 1984 I have traveled all over the nation giving lectures and teaching. Helping people learn how to activate their psychic senses "on command" and to realize their full soul potential is what is most important to me. I have incredible gratitude for Pete Sanders integrity and commitment to providing this education.
It's been over twenty years since I started my astrology practice and began teaching Free Soul. I'm still enjoying every minute!

Some of the questions we often get asked by mothers who aspire to become entrepreneurs are: “How will I know if this is for me?” “Will I still have time for my family?” “I am unsure if this is what I am meant to do.”
There are many things to consider before you start your mompreneur journey. And if you’ve been and avid listener of Catholic Mompreneurs on Fire, you will recall that aside from the “business” side of mompreneurhood, there are also other things involved like childcare, dealing with distraction while working at home, etc.
But these are not meant to discourage you from dipping your toes into the water. Establishing a mom business is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. And the road to mompreneurhood can be made bearable if you are guided by your faith.
In today’s episode Peggy O’Flaherty, founder of Creating Space, talks how having spiritual direction can address life’s everyday challenges—including those you encounter in your mom business.

Join Denise as she has a mom talk with Deesha Philyaw. After their marriage ended, Deesha and Michael D. Thomas became the poster-children for divorce amongst their circle of friends and colleagues. While they wished they could have been the poster children for successful marriage, but it didn’t work out that way…
Despite the problems that ended their marriage, Deesha and Michael managed to established a congenial co-parenting partnership that allows their two daughters to thrive. In 2008, they founded co-parenting.org to connect with other co-parents and to offer advice, support, and encouragement. In 2013, their book, Co-Parenting 101: Helping Your Kids Thrive in Two Households After Divorce, was published by New Harbinger Publications. Both their book and the site are resources for those who find themselves parenting after a divorce or break-up.
Speaking engagements, workshops, and their Blog Talk radio show “Co-parenting matters” are other ways Deesha and Michael support parents, educators, and others serving children and families.
