This week, we're gonna get our retro video game geek on with the Pugnacious Sega Genesis Geek himself ... Teddy Rubskin! No, not Teddy Ruxpin, the electronic talking bear toy from the 80's. That'd just be silly. Teddy RUBskin is a former "actor" form a cerain specific genre of "films" ... but nowadays he makes awesome fuggin' videos on YouTube!
Check out Teddy's YouTube channel and especially his Genesis reviews!
As you can see, he not only reviews games, but movies, TV shows even snacks! We love his episodic "quests" also! Bottom line, Teddy is a geek like us and he's pretty fuggin' entertaining!

Today we will be choppin it up about Tony Dungy's comment about Michael Sam. Is Kobe Bryant this generation Michael Jordan? Will Andrew Wiggins get traded before the NBA season start? Definition of a Hero: "A hero deliberately & courageously overcomes obstacles for the benefit of others without regard to personal consequences. Conquered obstacles are the only qualifying credentials of heroes and a measure of one's true leadership."
Only a handful of people readily comes to mind as it pertains to Federally elected politicians in America today. Most, on both sides, are beholden Big Money Interest Groups and have forgotten their roots and what it is all about...representing "We The People!" Reps. Elijah Cummimgs, Bernie Sanders, Alan Greyson, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama are some I can think of quickly.
Where are the Republicans?
Long gone are the days of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Ike Eisenhower, Nelson Rockerfeller and George Romney. They were stand out human beings that believed in themselves and inspired others to be better people. Hence, collectively we become better.
Why Do We Need Heroes?
Like it or not, we need people who inspire us as role models. Many of today's heroes are sports figures, movie/tv personalities and rock stars/rappers whose lives are filled with controversy as well as frequent appearances before a judge in our already over-crowded court rooms. American Justice has turned into a cruel joke. The Media plays a critical role in the direction of any culture and influences its values system. They've failed miserably! Where's today's Walter Kronkite?
In your honest opinions, who and where are our heroes in today's America?

Few Americans know that there was a moment in American history where an organic movement arose that challenged the corporate power structure that enslaved average Americans following the Civil War. The Populist movement developed during the 1880s among American farmers and grew to encompass a wide swath of Americans who demanded economic justice. The movement was a great influence in preparing Americans to demand that the government intervene to help them in the wake of the Great Depression.
We are now going through a depression that would dwarf that if the 30s were it not for the social safety net that Roosevelt began to build in an effort to not only save capitalism but to help millions of suffering Americans. The New Deal was the embodiment of much of the Square Deal that FDR's cousin Teddy fought for in a period that marked the rise of political power of Populism. Now the social safety net is being shredded, threatening to impoverish even more millions of Americans who have already been made poor by the bankster devastation of the economy in 2008 that was largely the result of the destruction of the Glass-Steagal Act by a Republican Congress and a Democratic President in 2003.
The banksters are still the enemy and the People must rise again to stop them, using lessons learned from the Populists applied with 21st Century tools. That is the topic of this interview with economic and political analyst Karl Eysenbach.
This show was rebroadcast on July 12 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.
Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to explain to the American public the true costs of corporate control of the US government.
