Clooney's Tomorrowland soars or sputters? Here's my review.
We're reviewing George Clooney's new kid friendly, sci-fi offering "Tomorowland" today at 1:30 PM PST. This Disney produced flick is helmed by Brad Bird and features Hugh Laurie, and new-comers Britt Robertson and Raffey Cassidy. Tune in to find out if this is worth your hard earned money or if you should just wait for the Saturday afternoon showing on TNT in three years.
From IMDb: Bound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.
AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review Tomorrowland.
Is the Disney adventure worth your time, and can George Clooney turn this apparent Disney commercial and world order propaganda film into something that is really an entertaining ride for the whole family?
We'll let you know if this one is worth your time, and if you need to catch it in theaters.
We'll also be answering listener questions, and giving you a preview of coming attractions.
Phoenix Calida will Negro-Splain the Mad Max review and then we will go into news and comment.
Greetings to all God's people I pray continue blessings over your life and God's favor. I so deeply appreciate your prayers throughout the ministry. This is a special broadcast that I know will leave you speechless. My guest is Mike Hollinger
On June 20, 2014 Nitza Hollinger left her husband and two sons to forever be with the Lord. Is this the outcome that she would have voluntarily chosen? No! Nitza had two wonderful boys who she desired to see as grown men, to enjoy the fruits of her labor in witnessing the success in each of their lives unfold. As will be explained, there was a clear pivotal point that occurred as the Lord prepared Nitza to forever be with Him. As the Kirkus review made clear: “Hollinger writes of her experiences with intelligence, and her story is marked by clarity, humor, humility and gratitude.” Nitza was very humble in the writing of her book. Her desire was not to bring attention to herself; instead, she chose to focus on how God was continually with her throughout her difficult cancer journey. At times, I would ask if she was planning to put key experiences of her life in the book, Nitza’s answer was:“No! I am only putting in the book what God wants me to!”
As her husband, I now choose to share with you, the reader, some of those experiences and life events that Nitza chose not to share, desiring that you may better know the amazing lady who I knew, a woman who was much loved by God, family and friends. Tell all your family and friends to join us May 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. EST. Come to be blessed while being a blessing.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
One of the best movies ever. And scariest Netflix movies ever. That would be Wes Craven's New Nightmare.
Gordon Jennings (Idris Elba) and his friends enjoy a luxurious lifestyle funded by bank robberies, and they avoid capture by sticking to a strict set of rules. As they celebrate the latest job, a former associate arrives with a daring plan to rob an armored car. The lure of so much cash is too tempting to resist but, unbeknown to Gordon's men, this heist puts them on a collision course with Russian mobsters and a detective (Matt Dillon) who will do anything to capture them.

If anybody has seen that Dave Chappelle/Wayne Brady skit, you know what I'm talking about......Last night was the most horrid, blatant, misuse of power I have ever seen in a NBA Playoff game. If you are or are not an Atlanta Hawks fan, you know what the deal is now. If you didn't know before, you know it now. Yes, Hawks could have pulled a few more rebounds, yes Teague should have drove and tried to get some free throws, yes Mike Scott was wide open while Mack was given the ball again. On and on. The ejection of Al Horford gave Cleveland the game. There are several points to discuss on tonights show, my co-host Sandra Maddox and I will review many of them, feel free to join in! Tell your friends to call and speak their mind. And yes, the Hawks can win 4 in a row.

This Monday is a brand new episode of Graphic Policy Radio, and we're going to the movies again. Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron has already proven itself to be one of the biggest films of the year. The film has already earned $1.2 billion globally. But popularity doesn't necessarily mean the film has been universally praised. The movie has come under fire for its portrayal of women, the absence of women in tie-in products, and for other issues with the story itself. Joining us for the conversation is Sarah Jaffe.
Sarah Jaffe is a reporting fellow at the Nation Institute and a giant nerd who once upon a time wrote about comics more than she wrote about politics, believe it or not, and she has lots of feelings about superhero movies AND their politics. Follow her on Twitter https://twitter.com/sarahljaffe
So listen in, and join us in the conversation. Call in with your thoughts, or Tweet them to us @graphicpolicy.
Tonight, we discuss the new releases, movies, dvds, and games. Netflix Movie reviews: Marathon Man, Rich Hill, Houdini (Mini Series), Jen Kirkman's I'm gonna die alone (and I feel fine). Ethan's choice "The Town" was thrown out due to it not being availble on Netflix. Finally, WWE, NXT, and TNA wrestling week in review
