E3ven the most blathering pundits equivocate on the first two primary season results. They're eager to draw sweeping and even specific concusions and projections. At the same time they note that neither Iowa nor New Hampshire has a good record of picking the party nominees nor the Prez winner.
That said, it won't stop them...nor me...
We had the two expected winners yesterday. The margins are worth remarking on and on the GOP side, yhr jumble under Trump settled nothing. The fantasies that the first two contests would clear much of the Republican field were jsut that. On the Dem side, Sanders had a very impressive (over 20%) margin, not bad for someone who was down 40% not long ago there.
I kinow a bit about South Carolina politics, certainly lmuch more than I do about thoe in Nevada. It's my turn to analyze and forecast.
The 2016 election is ON and off to a wild start, with Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders winning their respective primaries last night in New Hampshire. This is not the way the pundits figured it would go, and the only thing we are all assured is that it's going to be a wild ride. MOMocrats Cynematic, Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss the race and what it means for progressive voters.
Dimitri’s Opening Monologue (from the LifePedigree.com studio)
Winning the New Hampshire Republican primary the way in which he did will give Donald Trump a false sense of security. He exposed his fatal flaw during his victory speech. I’ll play the audio for you.
Guest expert Congressman Bob Ney, helps us understand what the GOP election results mean. And, as a special added bonus, Ney offers his unique insights and personal experiences about his former intense aide, Cory Lewandowski … the person who is running the Trump campaign!
Guest expert Chris Regan, vice chair of the WV Democratic Party and a major personal injury attorney in Wheeling, helps us understand what the Democratic election results mean. (The interview became a little tense there for a while when the discussion veered off into personal barbs about people the size of elephants, gingers and hair-plugs, but all-in-all still quite good.)
Sirens Wail, body counts are piling up and only a few survivors stand aside, surveying the carnage. As Bernie & Donald take a victory lap, the astonished elites sit with their heads down, nursing a sense of panic while holding their brains in their laps. WHAT WENT WRONG?!!
Are the CORRUPT BIG PARTIES cratering, falling apart, imploding on their way to bursting into flames then burning to ash? The consensus picks for both the DEMS & GOP have fallen by the wayside and the race just started. All the money & superpacs in the world cannot stem the tide. And the moral to the story is -- Americans are demanding change. We are sick to death of the lies, compromise, lack of vision, and corruption. Even worse is the inevitable outcome of decay and fall. Like Rush says -- Obama is changing the US and nobody is standing up against it, let alone talking about it.
Hillary absolutely had her teeth kicked in by Sanders by 20 points. Trump doubled his nearest challenger, winning by 37,000 votes. Sanders won by about the same, despite running against one opponent. Kasich lives another day, as does Cruz. But how do Bush and Rubio justify their robotic & even shambolic existences? As Charles Darwin once preached -- Some must die so others might live. Which leads to another Q: is hillary Queen of hari Kari? Does she exist, exhaling self-righteousness and condescension with every breath only to get taken out like a mole on the front lawn?
Since no one has a crystal ball, and both candidates destined to be gone -- Trump & Sanders -- are snw leading, only time can reveal what US electoral futures hold.
Until then, take care sportfans
ps...please take care to watch for & not to run over political roadkill!

Join us today for the best in primary coverage, Grassfire Report

Hillary has narrow win in Iowa, but loses to Bernie in NH. In 2008 it was the reverse. Hillary lost Iowa, but won NH.
CBS's Bob Shieffer claims the Clinton camp called Bernie a sexist, but that was easily proven untrue - yet no one called him on it.
"Bernie Bros" have attacked Hillary, and her supporters - including me - online, on the phone, and in person, using vile and sexist language. Bernie FINALLY tells them that he doesn not want sexism in his campaign.
Trump wins NH, and immediately starts to attack Bernie by saying that he "wants to give our country away." He just can't seem to stop his exaggerations, and outright lies.
Kasich took a distant 2nd, then Cruz, Bush, Rubio, Christie, Fiorina, and Carson in order.
Will the Republican Clown Car lose another passenger?
Lets take a look at the nastiness in the ranks, the differences among the candidates, and between the two sides - the left, and the wrong...
